In Doha (and beyond). Long time, no see, blog! Let’s just jump in, shall we? In Doha, where my responsibilities have spent the last 7 months being quite mindless, the ability to focus (outside my nissan tiida of course) hasn’t been a necessity. With plenty to keep me busy but nothing really pushing me to plan, create, or concentrate, any former ability in this area has atrophied as quickly as my leg muscles (whose only Doha exercise is ‘accelerate’ and ‘brake’). One of my open books is. Thus far an amazi...

Walk! | In Doha (and beyond)
https://indoha.wordpress.com/2013/04/27/walk
In Doha (and beyond). Friday Nights in Doha →. I feel terrible that I didn’t save a source on this photo. Sorry. BTW it says “walk more.”. SaraaHa I’m trying to walk more, ever since a certain vegan. And I agreed to “operation wedding bod” in prep for her summer nuptials. Yesterday I walked quite a bit more than I usually would–to the store, on the corniche, etc Today it’s supposed to be cool (possibly only in the 70s? And what am I doing with my quiet morning at home? And always bring up strong emotions.

A blog about fatherhood. Skip to primary content. Profiles, Features, and Interviews. Life after Leo, part I: needs. June 4, 2015. A few nights ago at bedtime, each boy needed something: Leo, crying, needed to be put to sleep, Jay, badgering me at my elbow, needed to watch highlights from a basketball game, Wally, jumping up and down on his bed, neededsomething, though I couldn’t say exactly what. Answer: old formula.) It was enough to instigate a light compressing sensation on the surface of my skull.

In Doha (and beyond). Newer posts →. Because camels make the best valentines! This year, Sports Day fell on Tues. Feb. 12. Half of Qatar turned out for events, the other half being required to organize and staff it all. The third half, of course, slept in and took the day off. I chose to spend Sports Day at Katara, the beach-front ‘cultural village’ where canoes, kayaks, and yoga were on order. The importance of being at home. In Doha (and beyond). Friday Nights in Doha. Laughter–the best medicine for what, exactly? The beginning of the end. There are more Doha moments behind me than ahead, I’m afraid (/thrilled) to say. I’m not in ‘make every moment count’ mode, but I am making an effort to take extra photos and make a few extra memories. If only I could convince myself to live this way all the time…. Sheikh Faisal’s indescribably cool museum seemed a good place to start on the memories:. This entry was posted in Uncategorized.
