Bob Holzer updates
Bob is now home, and has been for 2 months. He has been taken of antibiotics and is recovering well. On April 14 he was diagnosed with endocarditis (infection on the heart valve) and rushed to Sacred Heart Hospital. That infection spread emboli to his brain, feet, and knee. Thursday, April 18, 2013. Surgery was a success. We are also weaning him off of his artane because they think he doesn't need it now. So the only medicines he will get now are his Prevacid and melatonin at night. So the pump was a good decision.
