One highlight of the summer was Adam's time at Camp Victory Junction! It is such a cool place and Adam was so excited! Greg and I were excited too. While Adam was at camp we had a couple days to ourselves. We stayed close by. We toured Childress Vineyards and went pottery shopping in Seagrove. The view from our hotel room.

Saturday, May 31, 2014. All dressed up and ready to go. She is getting so tall and grown up. Her best friend since 2nd grade. She is so goofy! It is hard to believe middle school is coming to an end for these friends. They have some great memories. They are all looking forward to high school. It will really fly by now. Four years to graduation will be gone in a blink. I am just trying to savor these times and record our memories. I am hoping to catch up on blogging next week. We are all ready for summer!

Tuesday, June 18, 2013. The past couple of weeks have been a tad bit hard on a parents emotions. CJ graduating, Audrey Kate moving on to the 8th grade, Stephen on. The verge of being a junior in college, all. Of these things can be tough and leave you asking. Where has the time gone? These two are also moving on. I can hardly believe that these two are going to second grade. They received their diplomas too. They had a wonderful teacher and assistant. It is unheard of really. We thank him for his service.

High fever, labored breathing, swollen abdomen, bloody nose. We thought it was time to say goodbye. We took AK up to say goodbye one morning before school. But the vet has advised us that it is not time yet. He has responded to some of the medication and is not in any discomfort. We have not yet given up on him. We spend ...
