12300;ハウスシッティング」とは、留守中の家に滞在しペットやお家のお世話をすること。 この家の持ち主さんは6週間イタリアにヴァカンス中。 犬を飼っているので、犬のお世話をするために住み込んでいます。広すぎて寂しい、ということで私も時々泊まりに行っています。 この家、通称 「城」. 12300;下々の民たちよ～！！」 . 居間その２。 その２ってなによ。 家全体がアートギャラリーのように、ものすごい数のアートの数々があります。このアートだけでも、普通の家一軒買えそうです。 トイレまでこの廊下をテクテクテクテク。 急いでるときはダッシュ。 バスルーム。広すぎて端にあるトイレが写らなかった（笑） . このお風呂は最高。家全部にスピーカーが配置されてて、このバスルームにも最高の音響装備がされてて、音楽を楽しみながらお風呂に入れる。天国です。 そしてドラ。 ドラ！？ で、でもさ、やっぱり小ぢんまりしたスペースの方が落ち着くよ。 なんて強がりを言ってみたり（でもちょっと本当）。 12300;シークレットビーチ」 「パラダイスビーチ」. New Cham (ニューチャム）. 車が入れない。 家も立っていない。 ネイティブブッシュに囲まれてひっそりと、昔からある自然のままの姿でそこにある、宝石のようなビーチなのです。 学校のアクティビティや、プライベートでも時々いきます。 フィティアンガから車で40分かけてWhangapaua（ファンガパウア）までいき、そこから岩場とブッシュを40分ほど歩いてたどり着けるこのビーチ。 ランチや飲み物を持って行き、昼寝をしたり、泳いだり、ビーチの木陰で一日を過ごすのは最高です。 開発が進むニュージーランドでも、こういう手付かずの自然を残していきたいという人々の想いが、ここには込められています。 しかし、このビーチとその周辺の山が、最近、開発業者に売られてしまいました。 その業者は、この土地に別荘を建てて、お金持ちのリゾートとして売り出そうとしています。 そんなことは許せない、と地元民およびこのビーチを守りたいと考える外部の人々が、開発を中止にするように呼びかける運動を行っています。 今年は日本には帰らない予定です。来年帰ろうかなって思っ...
