Welcome to my page! Come in, grab a cuppa and let me know how your day's been x. Wednesday, 28 August 2013. End of year gifts (before the new year rolls in). This cushion met with HUGE excitement and enthusiasm and was tossed around the room for a hug and a squeeze before being ceremoniously carried down to their new classroom (I checked with the next teacher first.) No pattern needed here, just a big Granny square in rainbow colours to the cushion size and single crochet edge to hold together. We now ha...

Welcome to my page! Come in, grab a cuppa and let me know how your day's been x. Monday, 8 April 2013. The jean genie lives on his back! Yup We have a Jean Genie in the house (although in my mind, it's a girl). She is talked to each morning as we come down the stairs, makes various journeys around the house by one or both tiny tikes and settles down for the night after the cat goes out. I was going to add eyes and a nose but she frankly doesn't need 'em! Turn inside out and stitch legs together. This hol...

Baby ballet slippers – The Green Dragonfly
https://thegreendragonfly.wordpress.com/2012/10/16/baby-ballet-slippers
About the Green Dragonfly. October 16, 2012. October 19, 2012. My youngest niece Freya had her baptism this week, so I made her these gorgeous wee ballet slippers for the occasion. Doesn’t every almost three month old. Maia is quite jealous of them… wistfully mentioning (repeatedly stating) that she wished she had a pair just like them. Sigh. For her dramatics alone she probably deserves some. Take a baby bootie pattern and turn it into a ballet slipper in three easy steps:. October 16, 2012 at 5:07 pm.

Mummycat gets organised...: July 2014
http://theawhalley-mummycat.blogspot.com/2014_07_01_archive.html
Welcome to my page! Come in, grab a cuppa and let me know how your day's been x. Thursday, 31 July 2014. I have often wondered why people bother to crochet facecloths. Yes, they look lovely in the shops daintily tied around a handmade soap using a lavender stalk or whatnot, but why spend that much on natural cotton to crochet a square? But birthdays were coming and I had some cotton so I thought I would have a little play. Oh, now I get it! You will need: Natural Cotton (Rowan). Sunday, 27 July 2014.

Welcome to my page! Come in, grab a cuppa and let me know how your day's been x. Monday, 4 August 2014. The other great thing was that the party pretty much took place entirely at the dining room table meaning minimal mess, fuss and fully engaged little girls! Step 1: Party bags. Step 2: Pizza making. Step 3: Loom Bands! These are the current craze at school and I love how children teach each other these skills, passing them down and down each year so that the playground games continue for generations!

Welcome to my page! Come in, grab a cuppa and let me know how your day's been x. Monday, 11 August 2014. A family get together. Last year saw the first family picnic in Kew Gardens- my childhood home. After a few tumultuous years, it was great to have Nanny and Grandad relax outside with my brother and sisters. It was just missing a few special people and so, this year, was even more special as it was the first time all the children, partners and grandchildren were together! No, he isn't. Myf and Katie g...
