not just about cancer: 2 more days in the sun
http://notjustaboutcancer.blogspot.com/2015/05/2-more-days-in-sun.html
Not just about cancer. One woman's stories, adventures, observations and rants, lived through and beyond metastatic breast cancer. Tuesday, May 05, 2015. 2 more days in the sun. Yesterday, I had the best massage of my life. During my appointment my phone was off. When I turned it back on, there was voice mail. My surgery was delayed for two days until Thursday, May 7. I can fill my anxiety building again and I know the inevitable was just postponed but it's been nice to have a little extra time.

not just about cancer: May 2015

Not just about cancer. One woman's stories, adventures, observations and rants, lived through and beyond metastatic breast cancer. Friday, May 22, 2015. Week two was harder than week one. This is partly because I am more impatient and partly that I think this is what happens at week two. It's two steps forward, one step back. I had my staples out on Tuesday. And then slept for hours. I'm walking a little further every day. I watched Baby Mama this week, finished Brooklyn NineNine and Midsomer Murders.

Chronicle of a Stem Cell Transplant (and on through to the other side). Thursday, November 30, 2006. Hey, Big Spender. Well, this week I accidentally managed to sign myself and three friends up to do a half marathon. Not only that, but, Rishel was so excited, she signed herself up for the Honolulu Triathlon! We're not actually "running" until May, but I'm going to need that much time to recondition this beat-up body. Posted by Kirsten (not Kristen) at 6:46 PM. Tuesday, November 28, 2006. Rock on, Starbuck.

cancersmancer: July 2008
http://cancersmancer.blogspot.com/2008_07_01_archive.html
Chronicle of a Stem Cell Transplant (and on through to the other side). Thursday, July 10, 2008. Back In The Saddle (Well, Sort of.). It's been quite a month. As time passes, it also affirms my belief in the infinite life span of all energy on the planet. The idea that, while we may lose family and friends in their "earthly" form and this is indeed painful, our ability to keep them alive in our memories combined with the idea that energy doesn't die, but merely changes shape, is very comforting to me.
