March | 2015 | primaryteacherlovesliterature
https://primaryteacherlovesliterature.wordpress.com/2015/03
Not just another WordPress.com site. Archive for March, 2015. March 29, 2015. I am a bit opposed to Disney books as I think there is a real danger that children grow up thinking that Disney wrote many of our much-loved traditional tales. World Book Day at my school always feels like a sea of Disney princesses! Please note that I didn’t actually purchase any of these books! Posted in My thoughts. March 29, 2015. Been away for a while. Well I got stuck into teaching and look how the time has flown!

Feel free to post further suggestions as to how this book may be used in school. Posted on March 13, 2011 at 19:14 in Book Review. 124; RSS feed. You are...

Not just another WordPress.com site. Archive for March, 2011. March 14, 2011. The Man Who Wore All His Clothes by Allan Ahlberg. When you read it for a second time you notice little clues that you might have missed first time round that hint towards the reason – this is very cleverly done. I think this book would be useful in encouraging boys who may be reluctant to read. Posted in Book Review. March 13, 2011. Mr Stink by David Walliams. The first book I read by David Walliams. Not just another WordPress.com site. This blog is to be used primarily as a personal anthology of books that I have read and enjoyed. Where children’s literature is reviewed I will try to suggest links to the classroom that other teachers may like to consider using. I will also use the site to publish information about other things that I like, such as artwork and food, and I have added a Sandbox to blog about general fun things. If you are reading this then enjoy! Leave a Reply Cancel reply.

Using ICT in lessons – DA30. This lesson was very successful. The children were confident in their ICT use and navigation of websites and were able to use functions such as copy and paste and following links. ICT was used in this lesson as a learning tool predominantly, as the children were independently using their ICT and reading skills to find the information required of them. Children’s use of ICT – in class and at home. The use of ICT in my Placement School. Laptops are also used to present work, wh...
