and then there's rustic!: June 2010
http://thentheresrustic.blogspot.com/2010_06_01_archive.html
And then there's rustic! Wednesday, June 16, 2010. Lots of different things have been keeping me busy lately - a dear friend's daughter graduated and I helped with the party - loads of fun! And then my nephew John graduated and we traveled to Indiana for his party - again, lots of fun and hard to believe two little tots are now on their way to college! Best wishes to them both! And after - big difference huh? I am so thankful we are done with it! Can't wait to see how it does. And then sand the walls....

Kay Harmon: Fun little pillows
http://kayharmon.blogspot.com/2015/01/fun-little-pillows.html
Monday, January 26, 2015. I love the feeling of accomplishment upon completing a large project. Unfortunately, I don't seem to have the time necessary to devote to a large project so will just enjoy the small finishes for a while. These seasonal pillows are all Buttermilk Basin designs and are all very quick to stitch and finish. I can't decide which is my favorite. How about you? January 27, 2015 at 8:28 AM. February 9, 2015 at 12:53 PM. Im with you- the Halloween is cute but ahhhhh snowmen. Tom Miner Q...

Kay Harmon: February 2015
http://kayharmon.blogspot.com/2015_02_01_archive.html
Monday, February 23, 2015. Most of what I've been working on can't be shown yet but, trust me, I've been a busy gal. Since I enjoy looking at old postcards, this project was right up my alley. An enterprising person got the idea to take antique postcards and print them on fabric. They provide a simple pattern and the result is a nice size wall hanging. If you'd like a kit, they will be available soon at Sew Graceful Quilting. Monday, February 9, 2015. Binding is so relaxing. To choose fabrics, Joan took ...

Kay Harmon: November 2013

Thursday, November 14, 2013. Tidings of Joy Pillow. When I saw this pattern, I knew I had to make it. Snowmen make me smile and this guy is no exception. The pattern includes instruction for how to make the outer piping. It's very easy and something I plan to include on future pillows.now that I know I don't have to struggle to make piping anymore. If you'd like a kit, you can get one here. Back to working on a secret project for a magazine. Monday, November 4, 2013. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). I learned...

The Pastthyme Blog: October 2014
http://shadesofthepast-pastthyme.blogspot.com/2014_10_01_archive.html
Tuesday, October 28. Falling out of October. . . I am so grateful that I live in a world with October.". Oh how we cannot believe that October is about to come to a close. The leaves have fallen off of the trees and we are starting to think about turkeys and gathering together to celebrate Thanksgiving. The past couple of weeks have been busy as we prepared some quilt tops to be done in time for quilt market that took place the past few days in Houston, Texas. Talk about good timing. Any gas station that...

The Pastthyme Blog: June 2015
http://shadesofthepast-pastthyme.blogspot.com/2015_06_01_archive.html
Wednesday, June 3. That sums up what this post is about. Maybe, more specifically, moving forward with lessons learned from experiences. May rushed by and to be honest, both of us Pastthyme Gals feel like it may have run us over. Run over by a bus. . .or runaway train. . .something big. . . But we have dusted ourselves off, pulled the tape off that held our eyelids open and sewn on. But let's recap, shall we. . . Because despite feeling run over. . .May was a flat out FUN and EXCITING month! This was tru...
