Grandma and Grandpa have a little TV that is just for the kids, so they can watch whatever they want. It is one of the best things because then the we can watch whatever we want. Miles thinks that if he has a tie on he is ready for the day and can go to work like Dad. I just love my Tyson. Posted by Jason Sydenham. Posted by Jason Sydenham. We finished the n...

THIS IS US!: February 2012
http://thesydenhams.blogspot.com/2012_02_01_archive.html
Wednesday, February 15, 2012. Jordyn is doing really good. We go to the Doctor on the 5th of March, she will have an echo and we will hopefully find out when her next surgery is. They are thinking 2-4 weeks later. Jordyn has been having a hard time breathing at night because she has to be propped up. So we brought her crib into our room. I just can't handle her sleeping in her own room and don't know if I ever will. It was great and we both slept so much better. Posted by Jason Sydenham. View my complete...

CHEZ BIG J: Good Times at the Track
http://jocelingibson.blogspot.com/2009/05/good-times-at-track.html
The Blond Leading the Blind. Monday, May 18, 2009. Good Times at the Track. Inspired by Keith's phenomenal weekend performance. 1:37:16 half-marathon, y'all! I was about half way through my workout when a large truck towing a flatbed trailer pulled into the gate and lumbered toward the northern end of the track. As I rounded the bend I read the signature: Nature's Call. Wherever you "go.". If you think this post is even remotely funny, which I do not, you will enjoy this witty British film. That reminds ...

CHEZ BIG J: I Got Your Oedipus Complex Right Here
http://jocelingibson.blogspot.com/2009/06/i-got-your-oedipus-complex-right-here.html
The Blond Leading the Blind. Monday, June 29, 2009. I Got Your Oedipus Complex Right Here. Like most little girls, my daughters went through the princess stage. They would dress up in fluffy gowns, drench themselves in costume jewelry, don long white gloves, brush glitter on their cheeks and prance around the house speaking to me in a surprisingly accurate British accent. I dutifully fetched. Them tea and ladyfingers, tossed the rubbish. Perhaps because imagining princess characteristics in teens or adul...

CHEZ BIG J: November 2008
http://jocelingibson.blogspot.com/2008_11_01_archive.html
The Blond Leading the Blind. Saturday, November 22, 2008. While listening to Slate Magazine Daily Podcast, I was tipped off to this article. In Salon magazine and it has me tickled to the point of giddy laughter. Feminists wholeheartedly supported the Obama/ Biden. Ticket (obviously Sarah Palin's. Her personal, professional, academic, civic and parenting lives impress me beyond words. She is indeed a woman of conviction and action and she has my utmost respect.). Success, in the words of Traister. To pla...

I'll get around to that in 1990 never. Monday, November 2, 2009. I just wanted to post this pic first to prove that there is a love/hate relationship between kids and Halloween sometimes! LOL I have no idea how anyone can be sad when that much candy awaits them! Again Abbi with the love/hate thing! This is actually the day of the school Halloween carnival.that's why Jake is wearing something different every day of the week! Best ride at the carnival! We bribed them with Macey's ice cream! CHEZ BIG J: September 2009
http://jocelingibson.blogspot.com/2009_09_01_archive.html
The Blond Leading the Blind. Monday, September 14, 2009. Give Us This Day Our Daily Bread. I don't have a minute to compose my thoughts but I cannot let the death of Norman Borlaug go unmentioned here. The present political climate demonstrates to me how desperate our society is for modern heroes: men of peace, honor and action. Borlaug was one such man. His intelligence and passion changed the world. Literally. Here's a well-done obituary. By Justin Gillis. Tell your kids about him. Princess and Her Boys.

CHEZ BIG J: Standards of Measurement
http://jocelingibson.blogspot.com/2009/03/standards-of-measurement.html
The Blond Leading the Blind. Saturday, March 7, 2009. This afternoon Eli and I were playing doctor. (I received a number of "shocks" for my bandaged foot. He simply cannot retain the term "shot.") But the most insightful part was when Eli took my temperature and announced, "Your temperature is eight miles per week.". It's possible Keith and I are officially runners. March 7, 2009 at 4:01 PM. That is really cute. By the way how is your foot doing? March 7, 2009 at 9:48 PM. What a cute little man!
