Thursday, August 9. Its Thursday, lets try making Calimochos. Change. Some of us are better at than others. If you were to ask me four years ago if I was adaptable to change, I'd say yes. Because it's good to welcome change, but in reality, I didn't like it very much. Wednesday, August 9. No matter how good it feels let me tell you, it was the most uncomfortable I've felt shopping EVER. I felt when I walked in that suddenly, everything on my being wasn't good enough. And I had some sales person, talking to me about how personal Louis Vuitton bags are and how there's one for every personality. My internal dialogue is that they all sorta look the same? That didn't stop me though, I got over that really quick and finally decided on this one, my new little baby, Louis.

Tuesday, August 7. I think about this a lot. My job requires me to be an effective communicator and what I'm not so effective at is giving praise and thanking people for their efforts and talents. I get really shy. I don't receive compliments well and I know that I don't give them because I'm afraid I'll receive them. AND then I would be so freaking uncomfortable. That needs to change. Really. Saturday, July 29. Best Kept Secret- Reverse Happy Hour. OKay, I just have to let someone know about REVERSE HAPPY HOUR at McCormicks and Schmick's. We go to the movies about once a month and what's a real treat for us is that our movie theather is a cross between art-house and mega-monster movie plex. So, we'll get first releases and the option of choosing between some nice restaurants. Penfolds Shiraz is usually $9 a glass was only $5! If you have one in your area, you should really go check it out.
