Saturday, December 12, 2009. Foam Fingers only get you to third base. This Fall Richmond, VA announced a replacement for their Minor League Baseball team that pulled out in 2008, because they wanted a new stadium that the city wouldn't commit to. The replacements announced in late October are called “Flying Squirrels”. Not really the image of a dominate force to be messed with unless they happen to be rabid squirrels. My Labels Came! | Knitsbyliz's Blog
https://knitsbyliz.wordpress.com/2010/07/29/my-labels-came
Just another WordPress.com site. July 29, 2010. 8212; knitsbyliz @ 2:44 am. The nerd in me geeked out when these came in the mail today. So excited! So, 2-3 months ago I ordered clothing labels to sew into my finished knitting projects. The website I bought them from estimated the shipping time to be about 4-6 weeks, but about 3 weeks ago I got an e-mail from the company saying that the factory had messed up the design and had to start over. Bummer, right? The labels. “Knits by Elizabeth”? Enter your ema...

Micrograve Designs: Nine Months + One... The Birth
http://micrograves.blogspot.com/2007/10/nine-months-one-birth.html
Saturday, October 13, 2007. Nine Months One. The Birth. So this is where it begins. I am not sure how many of those we revere as great artists knew at the time they started a piece they were embarking on creating something that would define the future of how they are remembered. Maybe it is just high hopes talking, but this is where Micrograve is being born. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). View my complete profile. Something, Sweat and Tears into my work. Micrograve Designs: Conception
http://micrograves.blogspot.com/2006/12/there-must-always-be-birth.html
Thursday, December 14, 2006. For the second year I did an event called Ornamentation. Put on by the Richmond Chapter of AIGA. When my ornament was finished I had a number of "parts" that were not used. My mind began to create and before I knew it I had created my first "Micrograve." As you can probably figure out the grave markers were not some of the left over parts. When it was done I gave it to my wife for her desk at work. No matter how much you beg me for it, the piece belongs to my wife.
