April 17, 2014 by Helena. Anyone who knows me on Ravelry even a little bit well, probably knows that I have a fondness (well, more of a passion) for transforming variegated spinning fiber into a continuous color progression or gradient, and then, if possible, knitting a sweater from it. Mostly I sell it direct to friends and acquaintances, the occasional craft fair, and a couple of retail outlets (one near, one far). As in far too far, but that – like so much else – is another story. Also I put the odd thing on Etsy. Which is a site I absolutely love. But in theory, everything that turns up here is for sale here too. Stained glass mezuzah cases. My other Etsy shop,.

Notes from a sustainable thrifty family. Monday, July 14, 2014. OK, is it really 3 months since my last blog? That really is taking this whole "slow blogging" thing to new levels! This is one I have had in drafts for months and would really like to document so here goes.
