Our harvest and packing season begins in late January and continues until the end of June each year. We have harvesting and packing vacancies for both short and long term duration. Our pack-house and cold-stores are located on the Eastern boundary of Hastings. We are within ten minutes walking of both Hastings City. And the Havelock North village which both have their own unique characters and ample accommodation available. And permits can be processed by The Hawke's Bay Fruitgrowers Association Inc.

Harvest is the end of the growing stages but the beginning of the product life. We have keen eye for detail and aim to bring our fruit into cool chain environment immediately after harvest from the tree. Because we are packing fruit grown from only from our own orchards we are able to pack specific customer orders using our exacting standards.

With the introduction of the 1999 Apple and Pear Marketing Board Restructuring Act, a number of "Industry Good" functions were transferred from the NZ Apple and Pear Marketing Board to Pipfruit Growers New Zealand Inc. (PGNZI). These functions included much of the Research and Development, Integrated Fruit Production programme and Technology Transfer components of the industry.
