http://japanastudio.blogspot.com/2012/07/virtual-insanity.html
Me dancing at: http:/ www.youtube.com/user/japana0621. Friday, July 13, 2012. I have loved this MV for a long time. When I was a dancer, I used to dance with this song. Not such a big fan, but Jamiroquai certainly has a talent to touch people' s hearts. Was born in Japan -got her B.A. degree in the US -used to be a dancer -loves traveling, dancing, and studying anthropology, biology, and evolutionary psychology -loves music, makeup, and broadway musical -loves cats -loves MJ forever. 日...Whats in my mind.

RBDs: Ridiculous Backup Dancers: "Turkey Lurkey Time" (from "Promises, Promises")
http://ridiculousbackupdancers.blogspot.com/2010/05/turkey-lurkey-time-from-promises.html
Sunday, May 30, 2010. Turkey Lurkey Time" (from "Promises, Promises"). Ridiculous.ly AWESOME showstopper from the 1968 Burt Bacharach/Hal David musical, Promises, Promises. Based on the 1960 Billy Wilder movie The Apartment. The lyrics make absolutely no sense ("Turkey Lurkey, Loosey Goosey, some for Uncle Joe! Some for Cousin Lucy."), but Michael Bennett's neck-snapping choreography that required chiropractors puts it in the "how do they DO that? The cast of the 2003 movie "Camp" reenacts this number.

December 2, 2010. Simple story – boy loves girl, girl doesn’t know he exists, girl is with a married man who is a louse, boy maybe gets the girl at the end. Molly Shannon – known for her SNL appearances but fabulous as Val in Will and Grace, has one star-turn and plays it for all it’s worth – her and Sean are great together – boy gets hooker would be a better outcome? Sets were great – very 60’s – colourful and chic. December 2, 2010. Housing Works Bookstore and Cafe, Crosby Street; NYC 10012. Staff R...

My View From 'Hudson View': Live From New York!
http://myviewfromhudsonview.blogspot.com/2010/01/live-from-new-york.html
My View From 'Hudson View'. My semester-long adventure in the Big Apple. Tuesday, January 19, 2010. Live From New York! It’s fun just being here where I get to see how a television production is run. I had no idea how many coordinating efforts go into producing this show every night. I couldn’t believe how many people there are actually working here and how each person has a very specific role in ensuring each day the show gets put together. January 21, 2010 at 1:52 PM. My View From 'Hudson View'. My semester-long adventure in the Big Apple. Monday, February 1, 2010. Yesterday was a very special day. It marked the one month anniversary of my coming to New York City! February 1, 2010 at 11:27 AM. Off the beaten :). February 1, 2010 at 11:47 AM. So, I was watching the Grammys last night and was super intrigued by the American Idiot by Green Day the musical idea. :) It opens in March and I am jealous because you could potentially see it! Maybe I should fly down. ;). Sunday...

My View From 'Hudson View': It's a Small World
http://myviewfromhudsonview.blogspot.com/2010/02/its-small-world.html
My View From 'Hudson View'. My semester-long adventure in the Big Apple. Thursday, February 11, 2010. It's a Small World. I apologize for the cliché title to this entry, but hey, it fits. I also apologize for those of you who now have that annoying Disney song stuck in your head. But probably the most unusual encounter took place last week when I was again, returning from the stage door heading towards the lobby door. There was a rather sizable crowd lined up behind the barricades waiting for Jamie F...

My View From 'Hudson View'. My semester-long adventure in the Big Apple. Wednesday, March 31, 2010. My Shamrock Shake Heartbreak. Here it is the final hours of the final night of March 2010, and I have yet to enjoy a McDonald's Shamrock Shake this year. Now I know what you may be thinking. Does this really warrant an entire post? And to that I say, yes. Yes it does. Perhaps, the thing I love most about March is the Shamrock Shake. I look forward to it every year. Food, Family, Faith: Serving it hot and fresh daily. Thursday, December 29, 2011. My Year in Review- 2011, part I. And playing with our new toys. We were really socked in with a huge blizzard. That shut down New York City for about three days. Then I got the flu. I spent the rest of the week with 103* fever, laying on the couch beneath a sea of warm blankets. Erik went up to New York and saw "Promises, Promises". Thesis was called, ". At the end of January, we spent a long weekend in Michigan. It was...
