ERIC PARREN - SYNESTHESIA GLASSES
http://www.ericparren.net/works/synesthesia-glasses.html
The Synesthesia Glasses are an experimental sensory manipulation tool that allow the wearer to experience what it might be like to have synesthesia. By cross feeding the sonic and visual senses, using augmented reality technology, the glasses create a hallucinatory experience. And, how does our brain bind these separated perceptions into one concept? The Synesthesia Glasses were developed in collaboration with Vuzix. And make use of one of the Vuzix WRAP 920AR headset. Science in the making. Megan May Daalder is a self-styled guinea pig using video, performance, and science to investigate life on earth. She has a BA from UCLA's Design Media Arts department, but most of what she knows has been passed down from her radical Dutch ancestors and a pinball wizard from Tennessee. Eureka and the Biomass. Eureka falls in love with a biological anomaly.
