Proud Simon was an Americana band from Rochester, New York, who formed in 2003. The band consisted of cousins Brian Keenan and Charlie Monte Verde. Over the course of the next 8 years, the band relocated to Brooklyn, went through countless lineup changes and recorded 3 LPs and 3 EPs. Their final EP was Anchors Aweigh in 2009. Wednesday, September 14, 2016. My Summer in a Nutsell. Saturday, April 9, 2016. I now know what it is like to live in a house that is "under construction" with a family of 6! Wood floors are now installed, new carpet going in on the stairs and the kids bedrooms, new paint in the living room and dining room, new light fixtures and new molding everywhere! Goodbye 80s look, hello modern! Sunday, March 20, 2016. If course it rained the entire time, but we didn't let that stop us from having a great time.
