Wednesday, October 27, 2010. The Merbok river, being part of the historical Bujang Valley in Kedah, was once an important maritime trading port more than a thousand years ago. Although large boats are now unable to sail in, there is still a jetty for fishing activities on the river. The government is also intent to develop the area into a tourism attraction, if ever so slowly and ineffectively. Saturday, October 23, 2010. Wednesday, October 6, 2010. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Thursday, September 30, 2010. It was 15th August of Lunar calendar, otherwise known as ‘Mid Autumn’. Like most other mid autumns of previous years I could remember, it always rain on the night… whether heavy or light. In fact on that night, there was lightning in my area. So I took some time off studying and spent some time exposing lightning. The best result of the night is the shot below. With that I think I can say that the night was not wasted. kws Photography: [Landscape] Broga Hill
http://kwsphoto.blogspot.com/2011/03/landscape-broga-hill.html
Saturday, March 12, 2011. This batch of photos were taken last year on my hike up Broga Hill in Semenyih. Famed for its stunningly beautiful morning scenery the hill has been attracting many hikers every dawn of the day. Just a short hike up the hill and the landscape is there to behold. Overlooking the Broga village in the distance. A pseudo HDR shot using a black card on the sky. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). View my complete profile. C K HON 韩春锦. Home is photographic hell.

Sunday, January 24, 2010. CNY Decorations at Pavilion KL. Monday, January 18, 2010. It is nice to sit and relax in the morning, with cool breeze and birds singing nearby. Ah, there are always some five small birds (are they sparrow? Who can identify it? Meeting among my house’s bamboo branches and chipping away. While I could continue enjoy the singing, I would enjoy it more by taking photos instead! In heated arguments… Don’t butt in while I sing! See the birds in discussions? Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

Friday, September 4, 2009. Even if you do you'd most probably just stared at each other and not utter a word. Anyway walking down a long corridor alone, would you invoke a feeling of loneliness, or may be feel that the place is deserted? Don't get influenced by my photos here which were shot to make it look deserted or. Dark Hahaha. These are just normal corridors from the condo I stay in. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). kws Photography: [Landscape] Pangkor
http://kwsphoto.blogspot.com/2010/10/landscape-pangkor.html
Saturday, October 23, 2010. A recent trip to Pangkor island with course mates yielded some landscape photos of the island, though not so spectacular. The main part of the trip was to enjoy the holiday upon completion of studies, so landscapes shooting was only done as we moved around. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). View my complete profile. Saturday, June 26, 2010. Krabi, the second time. A week ago I went to Krabi again with a group of friends. While the Krabi town and Ao Nang beach front is largely the same as last time I was there, the islands we went were different this time. It is also currently low season over there, so there’s not as many tourists around. A quick shot before boarding the plane. Two towel elephants welcoming guests to the hotel room. They call this Paradise Island. Relaxing in hot spring waterfall. C K HON 韩春锦.

Monday, May 24, 2010. The Kuala Lumpur Bird Park, situated in Lake Gardens (Tasik Perdana), boasts the largest canopied bird park in the world (or so it claims). Nevertheless the enclosure is quite big to allow the birds to freely fly around. At least they have some “freedom” in a cage…. Another kind of hibiscus. A frog at the bottom of a well… this would suit the phrase. The bird caught a frog and proceed to swallow it full…. 8230;which seemed to choke it. The loris having some nuts. C K HON 韩春锦.

Monday, April 26, 2010. Petaling Street, KL. Better known as the China Town of Kuala Lumpur, the place is full of stalls selling all kinds of things as well as crowd and tourists. Two sides of a store. Even an old lady has to carry things to sell to make a living. A monk moves into the crowd. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). View my complete profile.
