The term “center stage” means multiple things in the world of theater. First and foremost is it a direction term, used to direct an actor to a specific area on the stage (i.e. the center of the stage). This location holds a position of great prominence and importance, signifying a focal point for the audience to follow the storyline of the play or musical.
