On the Scriptorium blog a few days ago, where there was a discussion about the humble PDF and its place as an ongoing viable deliverable in today’s publishing world. Early paper replacements were indeed PDF based, but as many of the early users soon found, scrolling and zooming in/out while trying to find the relevant information did not create a very good User Experience.
