Canine Companions for Independence. Remember, CCI is supported 100% by donations. The Kansas City Chapter of CCI is a group of dedicated volunteers who support CCI with their time, talents, energy and dedication. Chapter members consist of puppy raisers, CCI graduates and volunteers. These members donate their time and knowledge to CCI in order to help bring these wonderful service dogs at no cost to the people who need them. These activities include (but are Not limited to):. We had to give Hawk a chance to improve his health, and it was possible there was some kind of something at our house that was causing him to flare up with the rashy itching.
