“Just Live it” Series – Being in the World |
https://kingtribe.wordpress.com/2009/03/01/just-live-it-series-being-in-the-world
8220;Just Live it” Series – Being in the World. Categories: Christian World View. Do not Hide your Light. On March 1, 2009 I shared my heart in a sermon regarding being in the world, but not of it and what that really means. My premise is that too many Christians have missed that fact that Christ’s mission was to the non-believer and that he was effective because (well other than being God) He engaged people and built relationships. The Case For Internet Church – Part I |
https://kingtribe.wordpress.com/2009/02/07/the-case-for-internet-church-part-i
The Case For Internet Church – Part I. I don’t know that anyone can argue the power of the searcher to be able to hear sermons or gain information about Christ in their own home, without the daunting pressure than can exist going into a church for the first time. Frontline Internet Church of Mcleen, Virginia is one of my favorite such ministries. I don’t think you can argue the ability of the internet to introduce Christ to non-believers. Watch this testimony and let me know your thoughts. The Village Ch...

Seven Pillars Academy: August 2008

Friday, August 29, 2008. Today's Heart of the Matter meme. Asks us for ideas of how we deal with clutter. Reads the title of this post, I know that she will simply laugh and laugh. She is an organizational diva, and, you see, I am clutter challenged. Once in our childhoods I paid her to clean my room. I have forgotten what I paid her, but I do remember that she said that it wasn't enough (and, of course, it wasn't). Right now we have three big notebooks at our house. The next notebook is the Seven Pillar...

Ministry for your Computer. Finally, brethren, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is of good repute, if there is any excellence and if anything worthy of praise, dwell on these things. Philippians 4:8. You’ve just heard a great sermon on Sunday and now you wish that you get that feeling of being fed throughout the week. I’m with you! Nothing
https://rhemashope.wordpress.com/2009/08/06/nothing
August 6, 2009. Rhema was *great* during her EEG. It was unbelievably smooth, and I know that someone must have thought of us and prayed for us! I will write about her results soon. The directions to begin with, such as ‘raise your arms,’ and ‘deep breath in and out.’. The resident stooped down to look her in the eyes (she was sitting on the bed). He raised two fingers and asked, How many fingers am I holding up? There was silence as Rhema looked all around, anywhere but the doctor’s face. I could feel t...

Come and Listen
https://rhemashope.wordpress.com/2009/09/17/come-and-listen
September 17, 2009. I enjoy blogging and will probably continue, but I am convinced that this post is the culmination for Autism In A Word. I cannot imagine that there will ever be a post here as good and meaningful as this one. So here’s a recap,. Rhema is a 5 years old with autism, aphasia, and a seizure disorder all of which make it extremely difficult… no, nearly impossible for her to speak and understand language. When last tested, Rhema had the expressive and receptive language of a 12-month old.
