Wednesday, 6 August 2014. What keeps the planets spinning. Yarn: Wollmeise Pure 100%, in colour Maus Alt. Needles: 3mm and 3.5mm. I finally finished this babeorama and oh boy, what an endless wrestle it was. The pattern was perfectly written and so easy to follow, but it did have 5 charts to follow and it required some serious brainwork on every row. So not precisely a cakewalk, but the cardigan itself is just heavenly. I have no words for how much I love this! And so far I'm loving every second! 600 pos...

Thursday, 24 April 2014. And I'll be stranded like a man in a mine. Yarn: Shetland wool, 350g. Yarn: Lang Seta Tweed, 35g and leftovers of tosh Sport in colour Wheat. Needles: 3mm and 3.5mm. In short time, this has become my trusted basic pullover. As the temperatures have risen enough to discard woollen hats almost altogether, I just had to buy a couple of balls of Seta Tweed for a spring hat. Really cool and amazingly soft, the yarn was also surprisingly nice to knit for silk! Monday, 21 April 2014.

Saturday, 15 November 2014. Run past all the light. Yarn: Handu 100% Merino, in aqua colour, and Cephalopod Bugga! I was supposed to knit my friend a pair of blue mittens and actually started these thinking "Wow, that's a nice aqua shade of blue! Come dawn and I realized I've been knitting a somewhat greenish skein, but was already past the thumb so I did not want to unravel anything. Finished them, wrapped them up and gave them to Tiinu. As a final note, Bugga! And I think I'm never over Perianths!

Friday, 28 February 2014. Mind you, this is a cautionary tale. Yarn: Skein Top Draw Socks, in colour Rye, 50g and Artesano Definition Sock Yarn, in colour Cream Cake, 40g. A perfect pattern, will reknit these in the future! The yarn was absolute heaven, both of them actually. Sunday, 7 December 2014. Scrap Yarn Sock Calendar. Sock A: Ranco Araucania in purple, Handu in blue. Sock B: Koigu in purples, Sisu in orange, Väinämöinen in Olki. I wasn't supposed to take on this project, since I have calculated every single minute of the day before Christmas. Then on the same day the calendar started, I was left with extra three hours as someone cancelled our meeting and I decided to take that as a sign. So I went home and cast on. A new pair of sock after Christmas, here I come!

Wednesday, 21 May 2014. I have eaten the plums that were in the icebox. Yarn: Handu 100% Merino in light bubblegum pink, 40g, Skein Top Draw Sock in colour Sterling, 92g and in colour Graphite, 100g. Top Draw Sock was once again pure heaven, and even Handu's gorgeous merino felt a bit rough compared to it, mostly because the latter is so tightly spun. Anyways, super yarn for super pattern.
