Knits, Knots, Gnats: May 2010
http://knitsknotsgnats.blogspot.com/2010_05_01_archive.html
Knits, Knots, Gnats. Monday, 31 May 2010. Today, I decided that I am bored with socks, having finished the third pair owed to the BF, (see below) and started using up some left over yarn on a pair for Number 1 Nephew. Sunday, 30 May 2010. My 7 year old niece has been visiting for the weekend, with her Nana (my Mam). This was the first time she has visited so I have been a bit nervous - what do you do with girly seven year olds? They can break a man's arm, you know. The first thing that anyone ever. After...

Knits, Knots, Gnats: Review of 2010
http://knitsknotsgnats.blogspot.com/2011/01/review-of-2010.html
Knits, Knots, Gnats. Saturday, 8 January 2011. So, in September, I had surgery and I've written about that in earlier posts so I won't drone on about that. Here While I was in hospital, the BF's Nan had a massive stroke and was also hospitalised. The MIL had a prolapse. So, everyone's in hospital. Marvellous. However, there is light at the end of the tunnel. My SIL isn't out of work until March and my brother has until June, so they have time to job hunt. My Mam is getting better - she needs ...Regia - P...

Knits, Knots, Gnats: April 2010
http://knitsknotsgnats.blogspot.com/2010_04_01_archive.html
Knits, Knots, Gnats. Sunday, 18 April 2010. I finished these "Regia - Colour" socks today. This is the first pair, for myself, where I have bothered to sew them up with Kitchener stitch. (I usually just thread the yarn through the final stitches and pull them tight. This may be heresy so I will whisper it: I can't tell the difference. He has just become my favourite nephew. Sunday, 11 April 2010. Warm Hands and Cosy Toes. Sometimes stash is a Bad Thing. (Did I hear someone shout 'blasphemy'? Yes, I shoul...

Knits, Knots, Gnats. Saturday, 26 February 2011. Nothing to see here. I'm taking a break from blogging. I've not been very prolific of late so there's no great loss there. Knits, Knots, Gnats: White Noise
http://knitsknotsgnats.blogspot.com/2010/10/white-noise.html
Knits, Knots, Gnats. Tuesday, 19 October 2010. I've finished one of the Sanqhar Gloves - they of the shonky pattern - and I am very pleased with the end result. These are going to be toasty as the weather cools. Obviously, one glove alone isn't much use to me so have. Started the second. Spot the deliberate error. Those stripes are going to get filthy aren't they? Love the red flash in the cuff. 21 October 2010 at 01:27. They are gorgeous, your photo doesnt do them justice! 9 November 2010 at 09:45.

Knits, Knots, Gnats: July 2010
http://knitsknotsgnats.blogspot.com/2010_07_01_archive.html
Knits, Knots, Gnats. Sunday, 25 July 2010. When I haven't been making jam and chutney (see posts below) I've been knitting some socks for myself in "Regia - Ringels". The pattern is Fern Lace and has been quite straight forward. well, I haven't had to restart three times, I have knitted one sock from start to finish in one go. Though I am not sure if it is too busy a stitch pattern for the colour-pattern? I'm pleased with it even if it is. Here's the combined ingredients - the ones I focused on, anyway:.

Knits, Knots, Gnats: Some Pix I Forgot to Show You

Knits, Knots, Gnats. Sunday, 30 January 2011. Some Pix I Forgot to Show You. I knitted a few things for Christmas presents at the end of last year - mostly socks it has to be said, and none with any funky patterns (other than the colour itself). However, I did knit a couple of lovely things. this cardigan for Niece No 2 (and please note, the BF sewed the buttons on for me and he did a lovely job too). with a matching pixie hat. Knits, Knots, Gnats. Tuesday, 30 March 2010. The Mystery Knit Continues. What happens if we add these? Monday, 29 March 2010. Can you guess what this is? PS I finished the scarf. The yarn is actually "Touch Yarns - Handpainted DK". Other than a couple of mistakes, I'm very pleased with this. Got 1 and a 1/2 skeins of this stuff left. I think I'll make a matching pair of gloves. and then some. Saturday, 20 March 2010. 1 Stage One - Observation. Stage 2. Investigation. God, the carpet needs vaccuuming!

Knits, Knots, Gnats: January 2010
http://knitsknotsgnats.blogspot.com/2010_01_01_archive.html
Knits, Knots, Gnats. Monday, 25 January 2010. Diary of a Traumatised Cat Owner (Part 3). Stoopid BF. Bought the wrong cat food. The kitten equivalent of 'this is not just cat food, this is stoopidly rich and delicious cat food - exactly the sort of stuff to create the kitten equivalent of gout'. Or in this case, gave us a 24 hour diarrhoea-fest. I wondered why the two. Curled up on my lap. They weren't being friendly, they were being poorly. Saturday, 23 January 2010. Bandit has discovered knitting.

Knits, Knots, Gnats: October 2010
http://knitsknotsgnats.blogspot.com/2010_10_01_archive.html
Knits, Knots, Gnats. Tuesday, 19 October 2010. To mention that I made it down to Ally Pally for the Knitting and Stitching Show (though quite why there were so many beading and papercraft stall there is beyond me. It's a knitting. Show, damnit - not a general all purpose crafting show). Did I go to shop? Absolutely. Did I buy a veritable feast and abundance of yarn? Not a bad selection of purchases but not quite the hauls of Ally Pally Expeditions-past. Am I going off yarn? To buy this yarn. I've finishe...
