World's Largest Ball of Twine Tour. Tips for your own World's Largest Ball of Twine trip. To take advantage of scenery, try to make your trips during daylight hours. Instead of highways, as much as possible. Don't try to fit too many stops into a day; give yourself time to enjoy it. One or two WLBoTs in a day is plenty, if you're really taking advantage. Don't travel alone. This is not actually a safety tip, though. It acts like one. It's just that it's no fun laughing at these places by yourself.
