Puslinch Historical Society Archives. PHS operates an archive room at the Puslinch Library in Aberfoyle. This room is open to the public every Saturday from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm or by appointment. We encourage everyone to come and view the archives. Puslinch Historical Society Publications. PHS is pleased to announce the release of new audio material. Paul McDonald has reproduced, in a new format, the oral interviews taped by PHS members with seniors in the community over the past 20 years. A DVD with a compilation of all the interviews is available at a cost of $15.00. CDs of individual interviews are also available at $5.00 each. The CDs and DVDs will be available at all regular PHS Meetings. The following books are available at the PHS archives.

It is located on the Brock Road between Guelph and Hamilton, about 11 kilometers south of Guelph. It was believed to be have been named by John McFarlane who opened the first general store at the north end of the town. He was born in Aberfoyle, Scotland and immigrated in 1834. (2). We arrived on a Saturday and on Sunday, many campers left. It was very quiet and peaceful. We were camped in the Fairway area. Our site was #381 and although on a corner we had lots of privacy.
