Swedish Cardamom Breakfast Bread. 1 package dry yeast. 3/4 cup water- 115 degrees. 4 cups a.p. flour. 10 crushed cardamom seeds. 2 tbsp plus 1 tbsp sugar. 1/2 cup plus 1/2 cup plus 1 cup butter, softened. 1/2 cup confectioner's sugar. 1/2 cup blanched, sliced almonds. 1/2 tsp vanilla extract.
