http://www.puzzlemad.co.uk/2015/05/not-too-chicken-to-pull-its-legs-off.html
A mechanical puzzle blog from a grown man who should know better! Sunday, 3 May 2015. Not too chicken to pull its' legs off! It's a wooden chicken. I didn't realise until after I had posted but this is my 300th blog post since I began 4 years ago in March 2011! What a lot of puzzling experience! What a lot of cash gone! Luckily this commemorative post (and the next) are about the work of truly fabulous craftsmen. Eric Fuller recently put up an update on his Cubic dissection. And I was caught by surprise!

PuzzleMad: Creative Crafthouse - Soma cube (craftsman edition)
http://www.puzzlemad.co.uk/2011/03/creative-crafthouse-soma-cube-craftsman.html
A mechanical puzzle blog from a grown man who should know better! Sunday, 27 March 2011. Creative Crafthouse - Soma cube (craftsman edition). Another puzzle I bought from Creative Crafthouse. Was a rather nice medium sized Soma cube made from rubberwood, stored in a matching well made box. Puzzle collections should include a Soma cube! I had one made from mahogany when I was a kid and I have no idea what happened to it! It is not particularly difficult but does require some thought. I say again that All.

PuzzleMad: Part 1 of a "Two fer" in Honour of IPP35 - Hemi-spheres Puzzle
http://www.puzzlemad.co.uk/2015/08/part-1-of-two-fer-in-honour-of-ipp35.html
A mechanical puzzle blog from a grown man who should know better! Sunday, 9 August 2015. Part 1 of a "Two fer" in Honour of IPP35 - Hemi-spheres Puzzle. Puzzle - looks simple doesn't it? Last year was my first ever attendance at the international puzzle party and I had the most amazing time finally meeting puzzle friends from all over the world. I dragged the present Mrs S with me and she had a good time too (even if it was non-puzzling) - I was very proud that there were barely any Whack! Yes it’s...

A mechanical puzzle blog from a grown man who should know better! Saturday, 24 December 2011. Time to rename Wil Strijbos - "The Puzzle Pusher". More goodies from Wil. Wil is officially my puzzle pusher! In the same email I asked him about the future production of other puzzles. During a little to and fro of emails he copied in the whole group of puzzlers! His own response was to berate me for asking for more puzzles when they would be the cause of my demise! PUSHER" of the puzzle-drug! I have to say tha...

PuzzleMad: Picture gallery
http://www.puzzlemad.co.uk/p/picture-gallery.html
A mechanical puzzle blog from a grown man who should know better! My collection seems to have expanded enormously, much to the disgust of the present Mrs S. I am only allowed to keep them in my study - when I do arrange them around the house like ornaments they very rapidly find their way miraculously to my study again, often arranged "artfully" on my computer keyboard! To get an idea of the extent of the collection here is a gallery for you to peruse (Be careful! There may be spoilers in here):. Twisty ...

PuzzleMad: About me
http://www.puzzlemad.co.uk/p/home.html
A mechanical puzzle blog from a grown man who should know better! My name is Kevin Sadler. By career I am a consultant anaesthetist working in Sheffield. I started puzzling in October 2010 as a means to wind down after a stressful days work. Having seen the Revomaze. At the Gadgetshow Live in April 2010. I very rapidly got hooked on difficult and well crafted puzzles and have begun to collect them. I now torture friends and colleagues with them on a regular basis and have begun to worry my wife! My SD300...

PuzzleMad: In a Burr, Visible Does Not Mean Easy
http://www.puzzlemad.co.uk/2015/07/in-burr-visible-does-not-mean-easy.html
A mechanical puzzle blog from a grown man who should know better! Sunday, 19 July 2015. In a Burr, Visible Does Not Mean Easy. Visible Burr - designed by Bill Cutler made by Eric Fuller. Above you see a burr that I bought some months ago from the amazing Eric Fuller. Despite waiting for several years for Bill to produce more, it just didn't seem to be happening so when Eric decided to make a run of them (he only produced 40), I had to jump at the chance. Plus look at the gorgeous woods he used! Eric had ...

PuzzleMad: Funzzle puzzle - Epsilon!
http://www.puzzlemad.co.uk/2015/02/funzzle-puzzle-epsilon.html
A mechanical puzzle blog from a grown man who should know better! Sunday, 15 February 2015. Funzzle puzzle - Epsilon! Returning to my more mass produced puzzles - I planned to "quickly" solve and review one of my Puzzle Master. Stash for you today. I say quickly because yesterday (on Valentine's day) I abandoned the beloved Mrs S to attend the 17th Midlands Puzzle Party at Allard. Mutated into something FAR more virulent - the deadly SHEbola. In fact it took me a couple of hours! My last blog post. Of pu...
