http://whitneyanddavid.blogspot.com/2010_04_01_archive.html
Tuesday, April 13, 2010. So it’s been a couple of weeks. Coming down to the end of the semester has meant that I’ve been really busy. And stressed. School has been insane! One more week and I will be completely done with classes and my first semester of nursing school! Today is David’s last class as an undergraduate! I am finally going to post the picture that David painted. It looks awesome, huh? Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Far Far Away in the Land of Ft Collins. Does the Flag Still Stand For Freedom?

The Armantrouts: May 2010
http://whitneyanddavid.blogspot.com/2010_05_01_archive.html
Monday, May 24, 2010. This past weekend has been one party after another. Friday night, David planned an amazing date night. I had a blast! First, we ordered take-away from an Outback in Sandy. Why Sandy, you ask? Because we drove up there and picked it up, then went to the drive-in up there and watched a double feature while eating our picnic dinner in the back of Lumpy (our car). It was SO FUN! We'll probably re-celebrate on his actual birthday (just without the presents). I love birthdays! She did an ...

The Armantrouts: Changing Seasons
http://whitneyanddavid.blogspot.com/2011/06/changing-seasons.html
Sunday, June 26, 2011. It's been a long time since I've written and a lot of things have happened since October when I last posted. So I finally decided it was time to update. And hopefully I'll do better from now on at keeping this thing updated. David is officially done with his first year of Law School. David just finished up his summer externship at a law firm i...

The Armantrouts: Welcome
http://whitneyanddavid.blogspot.com/2011/12/welcome.html
Sunday, December 4, 2011. We got to Labor and Delivery and the nurse got me all checked in. We rechecked my blood pressure which was still really high. They re-drew all the labs we had done the day before and then we waited. Finally, my nurse midwife walks in and says she's going to admit me and we would start inducing labor. WHAT? How much blood do you think she lost? Our recovery went very well. We were in the hospital for a few more days so they could keep an eye on us and then we were home! We named ...

Paths: Two Years
http://5gsplus.blogspot.com/2012/11/two-years.html
A story about the paths we choose. In particular, paths that led us to adding to our family in an unconventional way. Thursday, November 29, 2012. Two years ago today there were many firsts. The first time I'd experience a sunrise in Africa. The first time I'd heard the chants from the Ethiopian Orthodox churches. The first time I woke to the sounds of goats, donkeys, roosters, and children in the streets. The first daylight drive through Addis Ababa. The first time I saw those blue gates in person.

You are all so special and we love you! Trust me the four of us are enough to make the kiddo feel overwhelmed! I know that this is so hard to read bec...
