Simply. I'm an Ironman Lake Placid Finisher and Challenge Atlantic City finisher! Monday, June 27, 2011. I have to get this off my chest. I AM SO FRUSTRATED WITH MY POOL! Warning. Ironman nerves are coming out. so I'm taking a sarcastic tone with this one! I had a 3650 yard endurance speed workout tonight. How much did I get done? 2000 in 34 minutes. Grrrr. In a snotty voice. "No, I'm NOT done, but would you like to share? NO, not until you are done! 2000 yards just isn't gonna cut it! Only 26 days til P...

I have now upped my World Champ Meet and Greet count to THREE! First there was Rinny…. Just like old pals. And now, the one and only CHRISSIE WELLINGTON! Not the most flattering photo of Jpow, but I'll take it! BLT, Jason and Coach Jenn. I don’t want to sound like a dummy, creeper, stalker… so I asked, “I read somewhere that last year after IM South...After we got up...

Simply. I'm an Ironman Lake Placid Finisher and Challenge Atlantic City finisher! Friday, December 20, 2013. I've got the wintertime, wintertime sadness. I've been obsessed with Lana Del Ray's "Summertime Sadness" for months now - the Jersey version of course. http:/ www.youtube.com/watch? I've read this quote before and it is totally true. "You'll never regret the workouts you complete. You'll only regret the ones you don't.". Happy Winter Training Folks! Tuesday, December 10, 2013. Here we go again.

Simply. I'm an Ironman Lake Placid Finisher and Challenge Atlantic City finisher! Wednesday, March 28, 2012. I’ve had a lot going on the past two weeks including, but most definitely not limited to…. My 8th Annual Birthday Bash with my Bestie. St Paddy’s Day, my actual 31st birthday. Not my actual birthday, but a nice, sweaty party pic! An absolute insane work week, seeing Mythbusters Live. And finally the Central Park Duathlon! Paul and me in transition. Yes, all of that happened in a span of 9 days.

Simply. I'm an Ironman Lake Placid Finisher and Challenge Atlantic City finisher! Tuesday, May 31, 2011. My Body VS My Will. So I absolutely hate to be writing this but. I got sick again! AND – I had a super early Sunday morning wakeup call…. Sunday the alarm went off at 5am. Why would I get up at 5am after 2 days of crappiness? For a 2.4 mile open water swim of course! I picked up my tri friend and off we went. Surprisingly, I felt really great swimming! This weekend was frustrating to say the least....

SwiCycloRun....tales of an age group triathlete: Speed? HA! Ha ha! Haaaaaaaaaaa....
http://www.swicyclorun.com/2012/09/speed-ha-ha-ha-haaaaaaaaaaa.html
Thursday, September 27, 2012. The last two weeks I have been running. Compared to the thick of Ironman training, I haven't been running as much volume, just more frequency. Last week I ran 5 times in a row. 45 mins each time, except for one 75 min run. Every run was slow, 9 min pace, except for one speed workout, where I *gasp*. Broke a 7 min/mile pace for 30 seconds about 12 times. WOAH! For the tempo part. On pancake flat ground, in drizzling rain. 5 bpm more for 1:20/min faster. But really, I am NOT.

SwiCycloRun....tales of an age group triathlete: Training By The Numbers
http://www.swicyclorun.com/2012/11/training-by-numbers.html
Tuesday, November 13, 2012. Training By The Numbers. I am a numbers person. I always love to review my data to see my run splits, averages, distances, FTP, CP, Kj, etc. This is who I am. With a coach, he would tell me what to aim for X number of watts for Y number of minutes, and I would follow it. So I relied on him to do the numbers work for me. I would say it worked as he got me pretty fast on the bike over the last two seasons. Now it is my turn to use the numbers to my advantage. With a power meter ...
