Lehi 23rd Emergency Preparedness: 72-Hour Kits
http://lehi23emprep.blogspot.com/2011/03/72-hour-kits.html
Lehi 23rd Emergency Preparedness. Saturday, March 19, 2011. For the this month's situation, let's pretend. That your family had to leave your home and be indoors in a common area (like a stake center) with other neighbors. Pretend that for two days you would be without cars, stores, or electricity—but you would have your portable emergency kits. Think through the situation and determine what you would be lacking. What would you eat and drink, would you be warm, would you have light? Our kits are in backp...

Lehi 23rd Emergency Preparedness: February 2011
http://lehi23emprep.blogspot.com/2011_02_01_archive.html
Lehi 23rd Emergency Preparedness. Saturday, February 19, 2011. So, how was life at your home last week when the power was out for several hours? While it's still fresh, consider where you weren't prepared and get prepared! I had flashlights handy in an upstairs kitchen cupboard, but didn't have any downstairs (where it's the darkest). I needed another flashlight so I went to my 72-hour kit and got my flashlight but was sad to see that the batteries were dead! What will you do this week? To meet the secon...

Paul & Amanda & Kaia: Wonderful Wyoming
http://pnank.blogspot.com/2009/07/wonderful-wyoming.html
Paul and Amanda and Kaia. Monday, July 27, 2009. It's no secret that we love Wyoming. We were able to spend another wonderful weekend at the cabin. We attempted a hike along Boulder Creek, but were driven away by mosquitoes. They were terrible in the trees and along the water. Surprisingly though, they weren't bad at all at the cabin. It made working on the fence more enjoyable, even though it was still very hard work. This is Boulder Creek. Another question, do male butterflies die after mating? Melanie...

Paul & Amanda & Kaia: August 2008

Paul and Amanda and Kaia. Saturday, August 2, 2008. Kaia enjoyed some pool time. Amanda's team (below) won the scavenger hunt and kick ball game. I made her ride in the roof box on the way home to get some revenge. Kaia had such a great time we rewarded her by wrapping her in rusty metal when we got home. Paul & Amanda & Kaia: November 2008
http://pnank.blogspot.com/2008_11_01_archive.html
Paul and Amanda and Kaia. Saturday, November 22, 2008. So we've realized that Kaia is learning so much, so fast, that we MUST do a better job of updating the blog. Kaia is almost walking! She stands, takes steps, but just hasn't totally taken off. She is so close though! Here she is "helping" Paul with the paper. As soon as he would put a piece down, she would take it and throw it on the floor. She found herself very funny! Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Melanie Justin and Ethan Robinson. Que Sera, Sarah!

Lehi 23rd Emergency Preparedness: Homebound During Winter Storms
http://lehi23emprep.blogspot.com/2010/12/homebound-during-winter-storms.html
Lehi 23rd Emergency Preparedness. Saturday, December 4, 2010. Homebound During Winter Storms. Last week a terrible storm threatened our area. Even though it wasn't as bad as predicted, it was cold and miserable for anyone traveling or stranded. What if the "storm of the century" truly arrives in Lehi this winter? Is your household prepared? Some storms last several days. Do you have enough essentials on hand if you had to stay indoors for three days? Please post any ideas or helpful suggestions.
