Sunday 10/07/16 Little Rumba. Without doubt one of the most popular bands to play at the Queens. You may have heard them before but they never cease to amaze! If you can you imagine songs from an island populated by Jewish Argentinean Celts, stuck in the middle of the Gulf of Mexico, reached only by radio stations from New Orleans, Cuba and Jamaica - then you’re ready for Little Rumba - a great world music band www.littlerumba.com. Fi Benson: July 2013

My life as a writer, dramatist, editor, curriculum consultant . and meanderer! From Wear To Wye. Hang On A Minute. The Celtic Year Project. Tuesday, 23 July 2013. The Paintless Artist', poem by Jalaal Patel. Intriguing title, fabulous imagery and a sense of prose poem within a free verse structure . lovely! The canvas is the environment in which she plays. The earth is her table gravity cradle. This stops her from falling into the devious pit of blue recollection like a mother who lost her child. It is n...

My life as a writer, dramatist, editor, curriculum consultant . and meanderer! From Wear To Wye. Hang On A Minute. The Celtic Year Project. Wednesday, 17 June 2009. Okay, just a little more Gossiping. Apparently), the Gossipers are. Here's some more of em. A couple looking a little coy if you ask me. Here's another photo, a bit more seemly . Except this un comes across as a bit lonesome. Let's have a more cosy image . see next post. Sculpturals and the CY Project. I popped in to post a photo of them .

Fi Benson: 'Friendship', poem by Lisa Sharpe

My life as a writer, dramatist, editor, curriculum consultant . and meanderer! From Wear To Wye. Hang On A Minute. The Celtic Year Project. Tuesday, 23 July 2013. Friendship', poem by Lisa Sharpe. I particularly liked the visuals of this poem and the fact that Lisa had mixed poetry forms - acrostic with what could be a miniature prose poem. Experimentation creating interesting results. Lisa's chosen image - in her original blog the image formed the background to her poem. Adness looms like a cloud of doom.

Fi Benson: My Writing

http://fi-benson.blogspot.com/p/my-writing.html

My life as a writer, dramatist, editor, curriculum consultant . and meanderer! From Wear To Wye. Hang On A Minute. The Celtic Year Project. In a quest to gather all of my writings (currently scattered like e-confetti) in one space, I've been e-leafing through old memory sticks and searching through printed copies in box files. In this journey I came across the file holding The Mask, which has had various successful airings, including being performed as a monologue by the Everyman Theatre, Cheltenham.
