Saxboy's Blog: September 2009
http://saxboy.blogspot.com/2009_09_01_archive.html
Tuesday, September 08, 2009. I am not sure who reads this silly thing, but it gives me a chance to post my rambling thoughts of nonsense out there for anyone crazy enough to read. For a few years now my idea of "church" has been evolving. During those few years that we were at MBC I began to read and learn what God has told us the "church" should be and how it should function. I pray that I never again just attend a "church" service. I pray that I will remember that "church" is not about a routine or...

Saxboy's Blog: November 2008
http://saxboy.blogspot.com/2008_11_01_archive.html
Sunday, November 30, 2008. So as you can see we had a great time and of course good food! As I have mentioned in earlier posts I have come to realize the importance of family and spending time with them. So this Thanksgiving I am listing just a few of the many things that I am thankful for. That I serve a loving, merciful, and gracious God and that He continues to bless me daily even though I don't deserve it. And proud that I live in the United States of America where we have so much freedom. Two weeks ...

http://saxboy.blogspot.com/2010/04/road-trip-09-part-2.html
Friday, April 16, 2010. Road trip 09 part 2. Well it's been a while, but at the prompting of one of friends from Corsicana, I will attempt to finish this series of blogs. On the second day of our road trip we visited Carslbad Caverns. It was a lot of fun, but I wish we would have have more time there. Maybe one day we can go back and do some of the things we did not have time for. The next morning we woke up to see snow! Yes, it's true! Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). View my complete profile.

Saxboy's Blog: road trip 09 part 1 (aka the continued adventures of mr. strawberry and mrs. orange)
http://saxboy.blogspot.com/2010/01/road-trip-09-part-1-aka-continued.html
Monday, January 18, 2010. Road trip 09 part 1 (aka the continued adventures of mr. strawberry and mrs. orange). This was by far our best road trip yet. We think that is mostly because we took our time getting there (and because Sebastian got to go with us). Instead of driving straight through we took in some sites along the way, hope you enjoy reading about our adventures (btw Mr. Strawberry and Mrs. Orange were also along for the ride). After our adventure in Ranger, TX we continued our journey. Her...

Saxboy's Blog: June 2009
http://saxboy.blogspot.com/2009_06_01_archive.html
Saturday, June 06, 2009. It has been a month or so since my last blog. It is not like I am real busy. I actually have more time on my hands than ever. I have not had this much free time since I was in high school ( a long time ago) and I am not sure how to manage it yet. My first goal was to practice everyday for a couple of hours. (that actually does happen occasionally. And watching online TV and Youtube. The one good thing is that I don't play much Playstation. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). That's me af...

Saxboy's Blog: December 2008
http://saxboy.blogspot.com/2008_12_01_archive.html
Tuesday, December 09, 2008. Today is my wife's birthday. Since I met Misty in the music building at OBU in September 1995 my life was changed forever. On December 21 we will celebrate our 12 year anniversary and I can truly say that I love her more now than ever before. Now she is demonstrating her love for me again by agreeing to sell our house, put her career on hold, and to literally follow me around the country so that I can pursue a dream of mine. This last stretch is going to be pretty stressful, because we have a lot to do to prepare for the move. Please continue to pray for us during this transition. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Sunday, May 03, 2009. I've been reading a book called "One Anothering. Praying through challenges together". The authors are Dr. Dan Crawford (retired professor from SWBTS. And currently interim pastor at FBC. Lawton, OK) and Al Meredith. Baptist Church - Ft Worth, TX). The book was given to us by Dr. Crawford when we visited FBC. Lawton a few weeks ago. The book is a study on the numerous scriptures that instruct us how to specifically pray for "one another". This section focuses on. View my complete pr...

Monday, October 26, 2009. Adventures of mr. strawberry and mrs. orange. Back in January 2008. We began a series focusing on the adventures of Mr. Strawberry and Mrs. Orange (actually it was only one post and then I forgot about them). As you can see in the pictures Sebastian was especially excited to be reunited. Mr Strawberry and Mrs. Orange are now in their new home with us and hopefully will continue their adventures for years to come. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). View my complete profile.
