food bling, Brisbane: Made in Africa
http://foodblingbrisbane.blogspot.com/2009/04/made-in-africa.html
Food bling, Brisbane. Reviews of Brisbanes best restaurants, cafes, takeaway and plenty of food and wine news. Sunday, 7 June 2009. For ages and ages I was wanting to visit one of the numerous African restaurants popping up around Moorooka. Top of my list was Made in Africa. I'll spare you from my great memories of Ethiopia, other than to say I was really looking forward to our trip to Made in Africa. Diced beef/lamb sauteed in herbed butter sauce, seasoned with onions, green pepper and rosemary ($12).

http://foodblingbrisbane.blogspot.com/2009/04/urbane.html
Food bling, Brisbane. Reviews of Brisbanes best restaurants, cafes, takeaway and plenty of food and wine news. Wednesday, 15 April 2009. I went back to Urbane. A couple of months ago, but I have to admit I've been a bit slack in putting up this post. The main reason for my slackness is that our dinner was. Good, I wanted to make sure my post did the meal justice. After two lovely entrees, we were both looking forward to our main courses. Mains included confit kingfish, tiger prawns cooked in coconut ...

http://the-hate-file.blogspot.com/2006/10/in-active-blogs.html
There are many things that happen in everyday life that we just hate. I mean, how often have you said or heard someone else say, "Do you know what I hate? Or "I just hate." and then go on to explain what it is that they hate? The Hate File gives people anywhere in the world the opportunity to vent their spleen where others can join in and comment. Join me in venting your spleen to the world; perhaps someone will listen! Shoot me an email attaching any photos that help explain your grrrrr! I'm sure you ar...

You Make Me Happy – in the light of the sun
https://inthelightofthesun.wordpress.com/2012/03/14/you-make-me-happy
In the light of the sun. Moments of me and my life by the sea. You Make Me Happy. Our invites gathering on our fridge. Yes, that is our own wedding invitation sitting next to Wolfie's birthday party invite! Meanwhile I thought I would share with you the invitations that I made for his party because I am rather proud of them if I do say so myself. Whilst not entirely original (is anything these days? A Very Hungry Caterpillar themed birthday invitation. Especially this party animal. If there is no mus...

at the farm – in the light of the sun
https://inthelightofthesun.wordpress.com/2012/03/26/at-the-farm
In the light of the sun. Moments of me and my life by the sea. Sunset at the farm. We skipped town for a week of peace and quiet. No washing machines whirring, no dishwashers draining, no tv blaring, no neighbours banging on the ceiling, no cars beeping, no mobiles ringing, no bright lights, no laptop, no facebook, no distractions. Our olive grove, growing olives for harvest real soon! Just us three, the birds, the fresh air and billions of stars. I had forgotten about stars. Would you believe it? 33 yr ...

food bling, Brisbane: October 2012
http://foodblingbrisbane.blogspot.com/2012_10_01_archive.html
Food bling, Brisbane. Reviews of Brisbanes best restaurants, cafes, takeaway and plenty of food and wine news. Tuesday, 2 October 2012. As you all know by now, Bangalow is one of my favourite places to hang out. I would live there in a flash - eating Bangalow pork, cheese and butter all day (with an occasional glass of vino). Other than it being a great little town, the food in the area is tremendous. Which is why you should all go along to the Sample Food Festival. Saturday 6 October 2012, 8am to 8pm.

food bling, Brisbane: Verve Cafe
http://foodblingbrisbane.blogspot.com/2008/08/verve-cafe.html
Food bling, Brisbane. Reviews of Brisbanes best restaurants, cafes, takeaway and plenty of food and wine news. Tuesday, 5 August 2008. A couple of weeks ago I had lunch at Verve Cafe. With a few work buddies. Over the years I must have walked past Verve Cafe hundreds and hundreds of times. I even worked as a volunteer in the Metro Arts building for a few years. But I'd never eaten at Verve Cafe. We decided against ordering any starters and opted for a bottle of wine instead, in true Friday lunch fashion&...
