http://serendipitypatchwork.blogspot.com/2005_10_01_archive.html
Serendipity and the Art of the Quilt. Saturday, October 01, 2005. Anyway, when I got back home, I checked out. Posted by Brenda Gael Smith at 7:15 pm. Since making my first quilt, quiltmaking has developed into a compelling avocation for me (I was a commercial and regulatory lawyer in another life). I relish every step in the quiltmaking process - especially the serendipity factor. View my complete profile. Serendipity Patchwork and Quilting. Casa da Praia: My Home. Amy and Paul in London.

Serendipity and the Art of the Quilt: September 2005
http://serendipitypatchwork.blogspot.com/2005_09_01_archive.html
Serendipity and the Art of the Quilt. Thursday, September 29, 2005. I thought I was pretty smart setting up my own website without having to know too much about html but now I guess I have to bite the bullet. Anyway, here's a photo of my latest quilt. It is called Taranaki Solstice. And I made it for my Dad and Zella who have a house in the Taranaki Region in New Zealand. It can get pretty cold there so this will help keep them warm. Now let's see if this works. Posted by Brenda Gael Smith at 7:27 pm.

The Hunters Hill Quilters: March 2015

Meet every Thursday at Fairland Hall in Hunters Hill for 4 hours of stitching from 10.30am. Read 'About Us' and follow weekly activities in the blog below. Saturday, 28 March 2015. We had quite a few gaps at the tables today. I think some people have already made journeys for Easter break with families. Grace gave a final reminder for membership fees which are due this coming Tuesday. It would be great to inspire a new generation of quilters wouldn't it? Quite a bit to show this week. And lastly, Susan H...

Just Patchwork: Proof positive
http://justpatchwork.blogspot.com/2009/06/proof-positive.html
Monday, June 29, 2009. A long, long time ago I was watching a formula 1 grand prix and was inspired by David Coulthard's helmet design to make a simple blue and white wool felt quilt. After I moved to England it languished. Top and back pieced, quilt basted, and a few. Rough rows of large stitch handquilting done. Years later I tried to fit it into my suitcase on a visit back to Oz. It didn't fit. But Mum and Dad took pity on me (it? And posted the quilt to me to finish. And guess what - it is!

Just Patchwork: September 2007
http://justpatchwork.blogspot.com/2007_09_01_archive.html
Friday, September 07, 2007. I'm back in Australia, just visiting, but it was back to the sewing machine when I saw the Kombi van fabric. From Heather Ross' Lightening Bugs. Line with Free Spirit. There's something so satisfying when you can finish an entire project, cut, pieced and quilted all in one evening. So it's only a cushion. doesn't take away from the sense of achievement :).
