Knitting By the Sea: Fall's Coming
http://knittingfellows.blogspot.com/2009/09/falls-coming.html
Knitting By the Sea. Sunday, September 20, 2009. From April to October, my job becomes my life. Many weekends I work part of one if not both days on top of the usual office time Monday through Friday. Don't get me wrong, I love what I do. I only say this as explanation of the absence of posts during the summer months. As the sailing season winds down, I begin to reclaim my personal time. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Knitting By the Sea: Pumpkin Time
http://knittingfellows.blogspot.com/2009/10/pumpkin-time.html
Knitting By the Sea. Tuesday, October 13, 2009. A quick knit for a boy named Ben. Seems funny to say that, knowing that "my" Ben is 26 and this Ben is just 15 months. A Fiber Trends pattern that was surprisingly easy and knit in just an afternoon, and that's from a slow knitter! October 25, 2009 at 10:22 AM. You do lovely work madame! I love the leaves on this pattern. Did you design them or did you get/purchase the pattern? If you could let me know I would appreciate it. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Knitting By the Sea: Waste Not, Want Not
http://knittingfellows.blogspot.com/2009/04/waste-not-want-not.html
Knitting By the Sea. Tuesday, April 21, 2009. Waste Not, Want Not. Tonight as I was perusing the new yarn catalog that had arrived today, Gram came in and said, "When you're tired of working on your sweater, perhaps you'd work on this for me.". I remembered seeing a skein- that's right folks, a skein, not a wimpy little spool- of 100% nylon yarn in amongst my stash. Well not really in. That nylon yarn was perfect. It even matched the sweater color. I finished closing the seam, lasooing every one of those...

Knitting By the Sea: January 2009
http://knittingfellows.blogspot.com/2009_01_01_archive.html
Knitting By the Sea. Monday, January 19, 2009. Where do I begin. This is here and this is now. From Here and Now. By Great Big Sea. And that seems to be as good a place to start as any. Saturday was a wonderful day - one when I got to wander around a book store for as long as I wanted AND check out a new yarn shop. I knew as soon as I walked through the shop door that it would go into my book as a favorite. Purl Diva. New Hampshire has just one, too- Spinning Yarns in Dover. I'd highly recommend chec...

Knitting By the Sea. Wednesday, May 6, 2009. I just finished my first practice sock using Cat Bordhi's New Pathways for. 160;Am I the only one that had trouble following the schematics of needle positions? I had gone back to review the first few pages of the book before tackling the second practice sock, "Little Coriolis". 160;WHY NOT SHOW IT ON THE LEFT SINCE THAT'S WHAT I'M GOING TO SEE AS I'M KNITTING! 160; Yes, she says in the last paragraph, ".the needles as they would look if you laid the...Okay, ...
