Thursday, November 13, 2014. Another successful season for the. Quincy Smelter Association. Every month we had many visitors for each tour day. The major event for the association was the change in ownership from the Franklin Township to the Advisory Commission affliliated with the Keweenaw National Historical Park. The Advisory Commission is the current owner. When a number of details are cleared up, the smelter will be transferred to the Park Service. We hope you enjoy the holidays and the winter snow.
