Bespoke corsets and handmade-dashery. Sunday, 12 April 2009. In My Garden I Am Queene. http://theglasspingle.blogspot.com/2015_04_01_archive.html
Bespoke corsets and handmade-dashery. Thursday, 23 April 2015. I was working on a few things over winter but it's always the things you aren't supposed to be doing that end up the most fun.like making fortune teller dolls. I made Lilith. A while ago and planned three sisters for her ; Mab is the one that appeared this year. She receives her messages via a bonnet-like wig of pins (I've always admired people that wear tin foil hats to keep the aliens out). She will be available for telling your fortune soon.

the glass pingle: Sycamore key
http://theglasspingle.blogspot.com/2015/07/sycamore-key.html
Bespoke corsets and handmade-dashery. Saturday, 25 July 2015. Some people aren't happy to have these in their garden but I love them. I used some lovely subtle shades from Weeks Dye Works. For this piece, the small changes in shade are perfect for something that was always going to be tricky! This technique meant that I avoided stripes in the colour of the thread as it moved from one shade to the next and instead gave it natural patches of colour. This is to scale ).
