Maandag 24 november 2014. AV Spirit goes British. Zaterdag 22 november 2014. De Oud-Beijerlandse atletiekvereniging A.V. Spirit. Ging dit keer op de Engelse toer. Alle afstanden waren die dag in Engelse maten, te weten: 1, 3, 5 en 10 Mile. Louise en ik deden mee aan de 10 Mile. Moe en voldaan heb ik daar staan wachten tot Louise op de baan verscheen (na één uur zevenentwintig minuten en vijftien seconden). En ook Louise was zeer tevreden over haar prestatie. Zondag 14 juni 2015. Aasee Triathlon Bocholt 2015. De eerste echte halve triathlon sinds jaren en dan ook nog in het buitenland (Bocholt ligt ongeveer 10km vanaf de grens met Nederland). De dag (donderdag 14-8) na thuiskomst direct een klein rondje (9 km) wezen lopen, al was dat meer om de jetlag te bestrijden dan training, maar toch. Zaterdag 30 mei 2015. Na de "bijzondere" triathlon van Bilzen, stond er de "gewone kwart" Triathlon Krimpenerwaard. Gewoon betekende bij deze triathlon:. Ongeveer 1 kilometer zwemmen (mijn Suunto is niet zo goed in meten van de zwemafstand). Lekker dicht bij huis (half uur met de auto). Het zwemmen was in de surfplas in het Loetbos en er moest 2x heen en weer gezwommen worden, waarbij je na de eerste keer even het water uit kwam om te keren. En ook dat was een stuk "gewoner" dan in Bilzen :-).
