Monday, August 2, 2010. There are many ways to learn from Torah. Not all involve actually reading Torah. Last Shabbat I was reminded of this by a lovely impromptu dvar Torah by Dan, a Beth El member. Dan was called to the Torah for an aliyah in honor of the insight he gained from being called to the Torah the week before ( A great illustration of the rabbinic dictum "One Mitzvah leads to another Mitzvah".).
