Sunday, April 5, 2015. Our NBC Mission Team headed to Mexico for Spring Break! We served in an orphanage in Monterrey. The girls were excited to meet some of the kids when we arrived. Her second one was Oral Arithmetic (recite answers from flash cards shown to her)-She received an A (100%). She also had a phonics test that she received an A (100%). 160;Monday, May 31, 2010. Rainy day once again so we went to Discovery Science Place for some fun out of the house. We took the Lynx train in to make the trip more fun. They have learned submersion techniques,breath control and the fundamental swim skills. Final Goal: Spotted front float with bubbles, back floating, independent swim of 5 feet, and splashy kicks. Wednesday, May 2. Thursday March 1, 2012. I woke up with a cold that had started the day before. It had been a sad and bit stressful couple of weeks for the community on our base and I hadn't realized till the night before that I was late. I decided to take a pregnancy test before I took any cold medicine "just in case". I didn't actually "tell" him anything I just handed him the test. Its so awesome getting to read all of this! Thursday, May 17. Centering Pregnancy: Session One 5/9/12. Went for my first session of Centering Pregnancy this past week. If you haven't heard of it you can read more about it HERE. Our practitioner recommended it to us because it is my first pregnancy and it is a great way to meet other women who are walking through pregnancy at the same time. The cool thing about this group as well is that since it is through the OB clinic on base everyone is a military member/military spouse as well. Sweet Pea and Me.
