All Things Crafty: Encore Post - Valentines Day Card with Embroidery
http://www.allthingscrafty.com/2015/02/encore-post-valentines-day-card-with.html
Monday, February 9, 2015. Encore Post - Valentines Day Card with Embroidery. I love combining crafts to create items. This time it's embroidery and cardmaking. I searched for the perfect heart pattern and found this heart at abc embroidery designs. I knew this was going to be on my card the moment I saw it. I then cut it out in a square size a smidgen smaller than my cardstock. Placed double-sided tape on the back and placed it on the top section of my card. Hope you enjoy your valentines day!

All Things Crafty: Post 4th of July Flag Finish
http://www.allthingscrafty.com/2014/07/post-4th-of-july-flag-finish.html
Monday, July 7, 2014. Post 4th of July Flag Finish. I displayed my non-binded flag for the 4th of July and now I'm determined to finish binding the flag for future use. There were several options I could have gone with. A solid color, cutting the top and bottom straight, etc. I decided to piece the binding from some leftover tumbler blocks I had to match the colors of the flag edges. Thanks for stopping by! Sunday, July 27, 2014. Christmas in July - Returning to Moda Flurry Quilt by Kate Spain. I was thinking that my next project would be a Halloween item, but, then I kept reading about all the Christmas in July projects out there. So, I jumped on the bandwagon and decided to work on my Christmas quilt started last year. Last year I started the Moda Flurry Quilt. I was all excited that I got the center part all pieced together. I hung it up for photos and thought, something doesn't look right?

All Things Crafty: Happy Halloween - Quilting Finished
http://www.allthingscrafty.com/2014/10/happy-halloween-quilting-finished.html
Friday, October 31, 2014. Happy Halloween - Quilting Finished. Well I finished this earlier in the week just in time for Halloween. However, I did not get the binding sewn on in time. But, who knows, I may finish it today. Since the Halloween quilt is so colorful, it is hard to see the quilting. You can see it in the black separator bars. The backing was completed with a glow in the dark spiderweb fabric. I used black thread for the back and a grey spiderweb color for the front bat pantograph.

All Things Crafty: Flurry Borders Created
http://www.allthingscrafty.com/2014/08/flurry-borders-created.html
Saturday, August 16, 2014. I finally finished piecing the flurry border for the Christmas quilt. The piecing wasn't the hard part, the ironing of these borders and ironing the seams to the center dark was the pain. I think it took longer to iron thenm than piece the borders. However, I like the outcome next to the flurry quilt. The photos below do not have the borders attached, just hanging next to the quilt center. Thanks for stopping by! All Things Crafty: Moda Flurry Christmas Quilt by Kate Spain - Making Progress
http://www.allthingscrafty.com/2014/08/moda-flurry-christmas-quilt-by-kate.html
Monday, August 4, 2014. Moda Flurry Christmas Quilt by Kate Spain - Making Progress. I only have one more plain row to insert at the bottom of the quilt between the last two rows of presents. I've decided they are definitely worth the effort of seam ripping the rows to insert the missing rows. Once I add the last row (hopefully Wednesday) then all I have left is the outer pieced border. All Things Crafty: Finished Halloween Quilt Binding
http://www.allthingscrafty.com/2014/11/finished-halloween-quilt-binding.html
Sunday, November 2, 2014. Finished Halloween Quilt Binding. My 2014 Halloween Quilt. Binding is completed. OK, I'm 2 days late but I'm so happy it's done. Time to celebrate a finished quilt! I decided to try and complete the binding by machine. I used the Clover Wonder Clips on the quilt to wrap the binding to the back and hold until I would sew it. I would give the clips a B on a review. Here's some pro's and con's that I think of them. Taking them off is a little slower than other type clips I've used.

All Things Crafty: Slow and Steady Seam Ripping
http://www.allthingscrafty.com/2014/08/slow-and-steady-seam-ripping.html
Sunday, August 3, 2014. Slow and Steady Seam Ripping. I didn't have a lot of time to sew this weekend. Also, for the life of me, I could not find my seam ripper and had to use a teeny tiny one to rip the whole center section out to place the plain white strip. For ease of lining up blocks, I pieced the white strip the same as the separator row with colored blocks. Option A with corrected inserted white row. Here's how it was originally without the corrective inserted row. Option B with original mistake.
