Friday, January 3, 2014. 2013 You have been good to us! Every year brings challenges and changes. 2013 wasn't any different, but we truly enjoyed almost every bit of it. This past year has been a year of numbers. New addition to our family (our car). Books read to McKae (We usually read close to 10 a day. it is a favorite activity). The best thing to hold is each other. Monday, October 21, 2013. It was a sad occasion, but a great service. The viewing was great, the thoughts, the prayers, the company, the food, and the overall feeling. There were tears, giggles, and lots of hugs throughout. Tuesday, August 20, 2013. I'm not afraid of hard work! I learned an important lesson last week, or maybe more like 2 or 3. Sometimes being a mom is HARD. I think I have had my eyes opened to the true love a mother has for her children. It is infinite and when your children are in pain, you too are in pain and would do absolutely anything to make it better. The best thing to hold is each other. Sunday, November 3, 2013. We had fun in the Fall leaves today. Had to get out to play before we rake them up! I especially wanted to take pictures of the Fall leaves since we haven't seen them in 3 years! The colors are very nice, but I'm still not so sure about the cold :) I've become wimpy! Wednesday, February 12, 2014. Hailey turned eight last Wednesday and was baptized Saturday the 8th, a quiet but sweet day for the ceremony. A snow storm blew in that morning and prevented any visitors from coming. 'Twas a bummer they couldn't be there, but Hailey knew they still loved her. She looks so pretty in white. Monday, November 25, 2013. Idaho trip, again. We stopped in Idaho City, east of Boise, for lunch. Afterwards, the kids dug into their pockets for some ice cream money. I think they didn't care for the warmed up frozen burritos and corn dogs Mom and Dad had chosen for them.
