Holy Land Adventures: September 2007

http://www.rachelintheholyland.blogspot.com/2007_09_01_archive.html

For all of you who wanted to see pictures and wished you were here. Saturday, September 22, 2007. Holidays are an interesting thing here. So far we have been in Jerusalem for Ramadan (Muslims), Rosh. Jews), and Yom. Jews) It is neat to learn about the holidays but it also means a day of not leaving the JC. This is usually for safety. Precaution because on these major holidays there are so many people out in the town. And Ramadan and Rosh. Posted by Rachel Briggs. I can't wait to get home and be able to m...

Holy Land Adventures: Floating Fun!!!

http://www.rachelintheholyland.blogspot.com/2007/11/floating-fun.html

For all of you who wanted to see pictures and wished you were here. Tuesday, November 20, 2007. We also went to Qumran where the dead sea scrolls were found. There wasn't really much to see but it is cool to say I've been there. We also went to Ein Gedi nature reserve which was really cool. In both the nature reserve and Qumran, it was the area that David fled and hid in the caves to escape Saul. Ein Gedi was a fun hike with cool waterfalls. Posted by Rachel Briggs. http://boibriggs.blogspot.com/2010_11_01_archive.html

Tuesday, November 30, 2010. Snow- Why/When I like it. The world changes, hustle and bustle slows down. Adults smile WHEN they come out and start shoveling or taking a walk. Even our cat Max loves the snow- he goes exploring across the yard with his belly draggin across the snow. I also discovered an advantage to not being able to park cars in the garage- -much less driveway to shovel. OK, I don't love the cold but I like beautiful white, fluffy snow and the peace after the storm. Matt and Sarah Briggs.

Tuesday, May 26, 2009. Memorial Weekend, Happy Birthday Kris. After leaving a little later than planned so Scott could purchase lacrosse equipment at Joe's Sporting Goods clearance sale for 80% off we headed to Idaho Falls, or Ammon. Kaylynn, Kris and Derek and their family and Matt and Sarah were already there. I guess they had some great games of Apples to Apples. It's odd to go home to an empty house and an empty fridge but Kris has already done some shopping. Love you all, it was a fun weekend. Ways ...

Wednesday, March 30, 2011. Moab Day 2- Arches March 30, 2011. We spent the day at Arches, literally, we walked our feet off. We spent most of nine hours walking and walking and walking or should we say hiking. Partition Arch was well worth the hike. It is an arch with a center parition dividing it into two sides. The one side seems like a normal arch but the other side is a smaller window type opening. However, from many angels they look fairly similar. Moab- Canyon Lands, March 29, 2011.

Rachel Interiors -

Miro Apartments Model Bedroom – Santa Fe Springs, CA. July 27, 2015. I loved how this bedroom came together for a model unit at Miro Apartments in Sante Fe Springs, California! The colors photographed so well as did the mixtures of textures: mid-century wooden desk, reclaimed wood dresser and nightstands, upholstered bed, linen and cotton bedding, tweed side chair, kilim wool rug. It was a big hit via social media, and the clients were pleased, which is most important! All items pictured are from west elm.
