Before teaching first grade, I didn’t realize how many students would only know their letter sounds and not actually know how to put them together and read. Traveling brings amazing opportunities and eye opening experiences but it also comes with a cost. You’ve lost a simpler way of thinking. Home will never be the same in your mind. Probably not.
