https://christystrick.com/2013/12/17/books-i-wish-id-written-2013
Books I Wish I’d Written: 2013. 2013 has been an amazing year for books. I’ve read so many incredible ones, and there are many I haven’t gotten to yet that I’ve heard are equally wonderful. There were a few I was disappointed in (sorry, Messud fans, but I hated. But this was definitely a good year for readers of literary fiction. Take a Book..Leave a Book – Christy Strick
https://christystrick.com/2013/04/03/take-a-book-leave-a-book
Take a Book.Leave a Book. A month ago I went on a carriage ride through Charleston with a friend, and this particular ride took us on a route I rarely travel in the city. It wasn’t my favorite route that’s down by the Battery but it was pretty, and I saw some things I’d never seen before. I’d heard about Little Free Libraries, but didn’t know there was one in Charleston. I really had no idea what an amazing organization it is until I did a little research. Little Free Library. Check out their website.

A Book Lover’s Thanks. I have so many things in my life to be thankful for: beautiful, intelligent daughters, a supportive and loving family, good friends, a magical city to call home. As a reader and writer, I also have much to remember on this day of Thanksgiving. And since this blog is (mostly) dedicated to bookish things, I want to give thanks here for:. All my bookish friends, both readers and writers, those smart, interesting souls who love good stories and encourage me to try to write them. I have...
