I'm going to have to buy a diary to help me keep track of my days. I wish I'd brought my filofax, right shaz? On Tuesday night Hannah and I took our first English class at the community centre. I've no teaching experience although I have a TEFL qualification from a 40 hour online course I did - this did not prepare me!

Team Bolivia 08!: The End..kind of.

Tuesday, 12 August 2008. The End.kind of. Our plan is to do an intense two week Spanish course (ie 4 lessons per day, every day) and around that fit in a few morning at Peter's orphange, at the community centre, with Gladys and the Nucleus project, and some touristy things as well. We want to explore the city a bit more, and we bought a disposable camera for these two weeks for some photo safari fun! We love our new place and are very excited about starting this new part of our time in Bolivia.

Saturday, 12 June 2010. Hostel-bound for a long time, we stocked up on snack food and learnt new phrases. The view from our bedroom in La Paz. El Alto, La Paz, Highest city in the world i think. La Paz airport being the highest airport in the world. They say the planes have to adapt their landing methods because they can't dive down in to land as much because the airport kind of meets them half way haha.
