The entire Dossier – which is a set of paperwork, was sent to Burundi the beginning of May to be translated. And is translated as of now! Last Wednesday, was the last appointment for Jason and I. It was for our Immigration Approval- fingerprinting (the 4th one in total! So now we wait. Our village that loves him already.

We picked up the meat 6 days later; heads, hooves, lard, bacon slabs (we are going to cure it ourselves), ground meat for sausage (we will stuff it ourselves), specific cuts of meat and bones. We have been enjoying the meat and we are so thankful for our hogs; the work they did on the land and the delicious meat they provided. While half of my family is dealing with shovels, snow plows and winter attire, we are running our A/C, eating fresh strawberries and wearing summer clothes. That’s right folks, welcome to sunny FL. Adam was able to install a drip system on the 1/2 acre where our new plots are planted and he finished a drip irrigation in the kitchen garden. So I don’t have a lot of pictures to show what we had going on in June but it was definitely a busy month! Adam, Mae Lynn, Kathryn, Graham and Madelynn. August 29, 2014. Chickenpox, play time, sleepy time and all over cuteness. I have never seen a case as bad as hers and they didn’t show up until 2 weeks after G’s began. One night, I woke up and K wasn’t in her bed. This is where we found her. So sweet! I took advantage of Adam taking pictures of Ashli Grace and I asked Adam to take pictures of our kids as well. K will be 5 in a few weeks, G is 2 1/2 and MJ will be 1 in a month. Enjoy the pics!
