Tuesday, April 19, 2011. Marathon National Championships - Mt Joyce QLD. The race format was 3 laps of a 19km circuit and not knowing what we were in for meant that the pace on the first lap was fairly controlled. After smashing through about 5 kms of bumpy grass we hit the first single track section which must have gone for about 15kms! As always, thanks to all the sponsors. The Unknown National 24 hour Solo's. Photo's by Jason Heddle nice work, so next Jase is riding 6 6 nice one ;). Saturday, April 16, 2011. Mont 24 hour: Radical lights 6 mixed. Chasing Bunnies on bikes. Tuesday, July 31, 2012. Well my posting lately has not realy been too much about riding or racing, while I have been and trying it has been very frustrating. It seems every time I get into routine showing some good signs it all turns to pear. So here is some good stuff of what's been happening. First night at home and already best mates. So the decision has been made, I know what I want, it is just so hard to choose the model. Each model has a great spec and all look fantastic it is hard to make that choice. Chasing Bunnies on bikes. Wednesday, October 5, 2011. It is time again, time to hit the rev limiter and go that bit more. Time to bite on the handlebars as the head is buried, try to kick away when there is just no jump in the legs. I think it is good to get some riding in at the other end of the spectrum. I have been keen to hit up the ACT Vets crits again, and now it has started. Some power geek stat's. 20min Average power 305W. Hopefully during the season I'll get these up ;). Chasing Bunnies on bikes. Tuesday, March 29, 2011. Stepping up.well trying to. Data, well the data does not really show it straight away. I had averaged the same watts in some the C grade crits, the average speed was about 1.5km/h higher as we were pedaling though the corners more (and I'm glad I switched to road pedals for the extra lean angle). Chasing Bunnies on bikes. Thursday, December 22, 2011. 2011 it is a wrap! Solo 24's: 2 (1 DNF). 3-4 hour MTB races: 2. 7-8 hour MTB races: 1 (DNF). XC Hill climb: 1. Dirt crits a shameful: 1. Still to come a pairing 8 hour with unlimited laps per person so essentially will be an 8 hour riding with a mate (apart for the first lap). Definately lacking the 7-8 hour racing on offer, and marathons. Merry Christmas everyone hope you are enjoying some time off work, to work off the eating season :). My 2nd fast...
