Doormat He isn’t! | World of Elephants
https://worldofelephants.wordpress.com/2012/05/09/doormat-he-isnt
Mostly a blog on motherhood. Doormat He isn’t! Most days, Dylan will finish the work we set for him. I don’t mean school work (the work load is still relatively light) but the additional assessment papers. Even though he has classes after school on 3 weekdays (1.5 hours tennis on Mondays, 2 hours gym on Tuesdays and Thursdays), he somehow still manages fine. Today is not the case. He insists that we have assigned too much work and expressed his displeasure in the following way:. May 9, 2012 at 11:33 pm.

Mostly a blog on motherhood. Getting to know Bras Basah Complex. Rui decided to spend another day with us today 😀 HT dropped her off at about 8.30am and we went for a steam bath and swim! After a while, they decided this was no fun and went for a swim instead. I promised HT that I will make them do some work before the actual fun begins. Meanwhile, I went to pick Shyan. Shyan joined for lunch. Each was given $5 for their mini-adventure. Getting to the destination via bus. Walking there from MRT station.

https://worldofelephants.wordpress.com/2012/06/17/the-past-week
Mostly a blog on motherhood. I’m officially on 2 weeks leave from 11 June and have packed the days with activities since 😀. We went on a movie-date with Josh and Jojo. Madagascar 3! After that, Josh and Dylan had their first combined tennis lesson. MOS burger after the movie. Tuesday to Thursday 12-14th June. We went for a staycation in Sentosa with Chong and Ding. Fun but too much sun! We still got too tanned after SPF 50 sunblock. Why? Port of Lost Wonders – We stayed there for half a day. What a hard...

Mostly a blog on motherhood. NSRCC Chalet with QC’s extended family (18 June 2012). Leave a comment ». I brought 4 kids (Dylan, Darren, Rui and Yan) to QC’s chalet yesterday. But before that, we went to do a little shopping for Ding’s birthday present. Trying out hat at Zara before lunch – Rui. Darren refused to walk back to car without his Garrett popcorn. It only opens at 11.30am! The kids had to coax him along. Team spirit. Simple porridge for lunch. Queuing up to go to the pool. Laquo; The Past Week.

Mostly a blog on motherhood. Leave a comment ». I finally brought Darren for a violin trial class last Monday and he liked it. So I paid for a brand new violin (it’s so small! And regular classes. I hope that we both won’t regret it 😀. Learning the E and A String. Teacher Anh showing him the “rest” or “neutral” position. Carrying the baby violin on his back. Ain’t he cute? Mostly a blog on motherhood. Leave a comment ». I organized a tennis clinic for 5 boys on the last few days of their June holidays. It was supposed to be 3 days but it rained on the first day. They had a little introduction to tennis and fun at the same time! The 5 participants: Jayden, Jaycus, Dylan, Darren, Tristan. Dashing for the service box. Practising their throws for warm up. Goodie-bags after the 2-day clinic. Thanks to Coach Chris! June 22, 2012 at 11:41 pm. Leave a Reply Cancel reply.

Milestone? Maybe? | World of Elephants
https://worldofelephants.wordpress.com/2012/07/01/milestone-maybe
Mostly a blog on motherhood. Leave a comment ». Monitor for the new term. Do you still use the word “milestone” on a seven year-old? The father obviously thinks so and bought him some Ninjago spinner for this. The boy is secretly proud of his new appointment. I learnt from his Sunday School teacher Pauline that he shared this piece of information with her this morning. July 1, 2012 at 10:49 pm. Laquo; Conquering the Pole. Leave a Reply Cancel reply. The Ferocious Reader | World of Elephants
https://worldofelephants.wordpress.com/2012/07/01/the-ferocious-reader
Mostly a blog on motherhood. Leave a comment ». Dylan absolutely loves the. Series. He is trying to savour the last book that Nicole lent him. He hesitates to read the book at home for fear of finishing it too soon and leaving none for his silent reading periods in school. Charming! We brought him to the second-hand bookstore to rent 2 more this afternoon. It’s quite expensive in my opinion. July 1, 2012 at 11:24 pm. Laquo; Musical Journey Begins. Leave a Reply Cancel reply.
