Saturday, April 30, 2005. I saw a HGTV show all about dry rubs and it sparked my interest. I did a little online research and found one that's very simple. I put it on a pork tenderloin and will let it marinate over night. Tomorrow I'll roast it, but the rest of you can slap it on your grill. Lucky dogs! 2 TBLS ground pepper. 2 TBLS onion powder. 1/2 TBLS brown sugar. 1 TBLS chili powder. 1/2 tsp ground sage. 1/2 tsp ground nutmeg. 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper. Wednesday, September 29, 2004. Last night, I didn't try out a family recipe. I made grilled cheese. My grilled cheese sandwiches rock! Maybe, I should write a grilled cheese cookbook, instead. I could have that book written in no time at all. Posted by Dawn Falcone @ 1:51 PM 14 comments. Tuesday, September 28, 2004. Posted by Dawn Falcone @ 2:37 PM 6 comments. Sunday, September 26, 2004. Sunday, October 31, 2004. My day of marinating went well. I hope my dinner guests like pickled peppers because they all are getting a jar as a parting gift. We are putting together our costumes for tonight. I'll reveal them tomorrow. Keep in mind that they are not Politically Correct or for the faint of heart. Posted by Dawn Falcone @ 4:05 PM 5 comments. Saturday, November 27, 2004. Tom and I are off to Costa Rica, in case you didn't know. The car service will be here in 15 minutes, so I'll be brief. I hope everyone has a good week. I don't know if I'll have access to a computer, but, I'll tell you all about our trip when I get back. Please keep your fingers crossed that we will get to play with monkeys! And to Paul Raff; Costa Rican monkeys are beautiful, gentle animals that do not throw poo! Posted by Dawn Falcone @ 6:13 AM 7 comments. And of course we...

Monday, January 31, 2005. I didn't cook at all this weekend, except for Saturday's poached eggs. Tom and I ordered in or went out to eat. It was a fabulous treat. The South Beach/Kick the Sugar Diet is going well. It's pretty easy to follow even when dining out. I wasn't craving the foods I can't have until this morning, when I visited Moira's. Ok I have to change the subject or I'm might inhale a loaf of bread! Posted by Dawn Falcone @ 4:57 AM 22 comments. Saturday, January 29, 2005. Which basically is ...

Thursday, May 13, 2010. I heart HGTV. I can watch it for hours. I never tire of seeing the "reveal". I recently submitted something and was featured on their website. It's not my own show, but hey, it's a step in the right direction. Check out my work here. All-Star Storage: Sportacular Closet Organization. Tuesday, August 31, 2004. My weekend in R.I. went well. There were not any major catastrophes and everyone got along! The wedding itself was beautiful. My cousin Lea(the bride) looked gorgeous. A four course dinner was served and of course wedding cake, but my favorite thing was the chocolate fountain! It was a buffet that had everything from fruit to marshmallows. You put everything on skewers and put it under the cascading chocolate. UM, UM, GOOD! Yes, I cheated big time. So, all and all it went well&#...

Monday, February 28, 2005. I hope everyone had a good Oscar weekend. The show was pretty predictable. Poor Marty S. lost for a fifth time. Tuesday, May 31, 2005. How funny can it possibly be? How are they going to pull off the Black Knight? Well, all I can say is, I've never laughed so hard in the theater before. It was brilliant! The acting, dancing, costumes, sets and songs were so innovative. This show is not PC. They made fun of every major political group, religion, race and sexual preference. How refreshing!
